    Crickets everywhere

By Amanda on Jan 13, 2021

Don't bother. Crickets can basically walk right out of this thing. After losing a whole batch of "small-medium" crickets overnight, I taped up most of the top. Went back to local pet store and bought more crickets. Half escaped. Put this box inside a 2-gallon Ziploc bag with the top unzipped but, raised all the way up. It was a pretty good solution. I have 4-7 crickets in the bag every morning when I get up. I dump them back into the box every day and do it all over again the next day. I have found crickets all over my dang house for months bc of this "keeper". It was knocked off the kitchen counter by our kitten yesterday and the side now has a long crack in it. I'm looking for a replacement Don't bother. Crickets can basically walk right out of this thing. After losing a whole batch of "small-medium" crickets overnight, I taped up most of the top. Best way to take care of my "cricks"!!

By TheCricks on Dec 31, 2020

I had my crickets in a lidded bucket before. Was a little difficult to scoop 1 with a cup! The little nasty buggars would jump up my arm while I tried to get just 1 out! This container is awesome!!! I just take a tube and hang it over my frog's cage and tap the tube like ashing a cigarette and one falls in! Simple! I love it! Also very easy to clean up.

    Escapees with smaller crickets

By Cassandra on Nov 21, 2020

I was pretty excited to have this new pen just as my new shipment of half inch crickets came in. They really did go right into the tubes! Seemed all good. Then I checked on them later and... Disappointment. I had to chase a few escape artists around my daughter's room. What is the point of all the great extra features if it does not fulfill it's prime function of keeping the crickets in? I had to run to Lowe's and buy a bin, modify the lid, and hot glue on some aluminum mesh to keep these bugs out of my daughter's room. What a waste. I did use the food and water dishes in the new bin though!!

    WASTE OF TIME & MONEY

By Milo on Dec 5, 2020

I was so excited to start getting my crickets 50 at a time. Only 2 or 3 even went up the tubes and they all died in just a few days. I went and bought 50 again...same thing. I cleaned it out and put it away. I guess I'll just buy them 12 at a time and just put them in with my lizards. I kept bottled water and the yellow gelled food in there for them too but it seemed to be a lost cause. I'm disappointed and done.

Put the Food and Water Dishes in BEFORE the Crickets!!

By gmnh on Nov 4, 2020

Made the silly mistake of putting the crickets in before the food and water dishes... very difficult to get them in with the little guys running around, and accidentally squished one, haha. The little flaps dont always close after pulling the tubes, so just be aware that escape may occur. Dont assume they have closed. Very easy to dispense crickets in to feed my frogs, though!

    It's so easy!

By Sarah on Mar 13, 2020

So I had a 10 gallon tank for the crickets and dubia roaches. Some of the crickets would jump out. When I was taking them out to feed my lizard. Now it's just so easy. Take the tube out and slid them into a baggy with the calcium in it. Boom Done, love this thing. And it's big enough for me. I only use 2 of the 4 sticks it comes with. Because after I put the tube back in more crawl in.
