I bought a three pack in late August for when my last one went out. So far I am now on bulb 3 as the first two have not lasted more than 2 weeks. This last one lasted 1 week. I never have great luck with how long they last but 1 week… seriously? I want my money back at this point.
Short lived
This bulb quality isn't what this company use to put out. I have only had the bulb for 5 months. And it's already bad. The bulb is on a timer and runs the same amount of hours as every other light in my house. And I get at least a year out of everything else. For the price these are not worth the money. Exoterra needs to look into making better quality if they want to charge so much for a bulb.
Bulb is fantastic
I had purchased this item when my Bearded Dragons bulb blew. I ordered it around 2:00 in the afternoon and it was delivered in less than 24 hours! It gets the job done at an affordable price!
Burned out when plugging in
I plugged this bulb into my lamp to use and it immediately burnt ourmt. Thankfully I had a back up one. I did not see an option to request a refund.
Lasts only 2 months
I have to buy one of these every two months. It didn't used to be that way.
Daytime bulb for reptiles
This bulb is perfect. It is the correct temperature for reptiles and living in a desert setting. I rotate it with the nighttime bulb on a twelve hour basis. No more worries about them getting their correct lighting. So happy.
Horrible light
I put it into the dome and it was on only one hour and it literally broke off
Dont bother
Burned out within days. No jostling of the fixture or mistreatment of the bulb. Just burnt out.
Broke first day we used it
Unfortunately this lamp broke the first time we attempted to use it. Not sure where it went wrong - guessing just a defective one. Chewy was great about getting us a refund - we will try a different brand!
It's not the bulbs
We were blowing through bulbs. I finally got suspicious of the fixture, got a new one and I had several "blown" bulbs that I hadn't disposed of and ALL of them still worked.
