How long does this bulb last?

Can you use this for a tortoise table or will it not be strong enough?

This lamp is appropriate for tropical and sub-tropical reptiles. That includes tortoises, aquatic turtles, and bearded dragons.

whats a good wattage for a crested gecko

For Crested Geckos, using a 25 watt bulb is usually the best choice. If a 25 watt bulb is adding too much heat, you can use a lamp stand to elevate the fixture farther away from the enclosure to dial in the temperature.

Is this type of bulb good for Hermit crab and their shells or activity?

Caused uv burns

Idk if I got a bad bulb but this caused my gecko to hide more and have sores on top of her, gecko groups pointed to too intense lighting. May not be suitable for

Didn’t Last

This bulb only worked for 1 day then didn’t turn on again when my light timer prompted it too. My snek continues to live in perpetual darkness.

We use these UVB bulbs to provide a sunlight alternative when our Sulcata Tortoise is indoors. Our use is somewhat infrequent, limited to several weeks in the Winter,

We use these UVB bulbs to provide a sunlight alternative when our Sulcata Tortoise is indoors. Our use is somewhat infrequent, limited to several weeks in the Winter, and a few cold days at the start of Spring. The garage where we setup her pen is not well lit, and she will tend to sleep if we don't have some artificial lights turned on for her. Eleanor won't eat indoors without the light. It's important to provide UVA/UVB when we keep her indoors for general health as well. It helps with calcium uptake, which is especially important for tortoise. It also helps keep her active indoors, which is important as tortoises can be susceptible to respiratory infections with inactivity in cooler weather.

I received the Exo Terra Tropical UVB 100 Reptile Bulb from Chewy a week ago. The shipping and tracking info were great. The packaging directions were easy to follow

I received the Exo Terra Tropical UVB 100 Reptile Bulb from Chewy a week ago. The shipping and tracking info were great. The packaging directions were easy to follow. No issues screwing the bulb into the holder on my bearded dragons habitat. i have noticed my beardy is hiding less and bathing more under the light, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Her color has also brightened up, from an ashy-tan to a more vibrant rust orange. This bulb is offering the UVB light my dragon was missing!
