opossum food
My girl would not eat any of this. Left it in a dish for 3 days. Waited a week gave her more and she would not touch it.
Helping the possums recover
We had an horrific winter last year...3 feet of snow that never melted for 3 months. Essentially, wiped out the entire possum population. Early this month, we saw 2 scraggly, skinny possums for the first time...during the day. This is a sign that they are having difficulty finding a secure food environment. While we always put out sunflower seeds for them, we wanted to try and ensure their survival. I bought the opossum complete, premium and berries and bugs. They were immediately eaten by the precious "kangaroos of the Americas" and now we see them every night...when we should be seeing them. They have already started filling out and we are feeling much more optimistic for their survival and repopulation. Highly recommend all 3 products.
They love this stuff!
I have about four baby possums in my backyard. It's Winter, and cold, and there's not a lot of natural "groceries" available to them. So I bought this opossum complete opossum food. They actually prefer this over fresh berries, diced apples and assorted veggies!

It did take my little, little opossum some time to get used to the food as he wasn’t being fed the proper diet but once he got a taste for it, he was in love! He’s growing and thriving and my fears of MBD are gone. He doesn’t even want to go back to his old diet and is demanding I place a new order! Pushy little possum but I love him! And I love this food for giving him a well balanced and well rounded diet that he struggled to receive prior to finding this food. This is also the absolute best and most honest deal, thank you for actually caring about our pets and not just the markup, Chewy!!!
Great food!
I ended up with 3 orphan baby Possums... And I was trying to give them the correct diet . I noticed the boy possum started early signs of (MBD) METABOLIC BONE DISEASE. And in my search for a possum diet I discovered Chewy actually sold "Opossum Complete" I ordered it and with in only a few days of eating this, the boy possum started doing much better... All 3 have been on this food for a few weeks or so and they are all healthy little critters. I do also give the fresh veggies and berries... Love my babies!

Exactly what I need. Could not find this product any where else except a select few and the wanted way to much for it. Some places wanted over 50$ I am very happy with the chewy price. My little friend likes it, she likes the dried fruit and little dried I guess it's meal worms.
This must have opossum crack in it.
I have three baby opossums I’ve been worried about getting all the nutrients they need. I can’t get them to eat any of the foods I’m told will prevent them from getting MBD. They will eat fresh fruit but nothing else. I know fresh fruit should be for a treat only and doesn’t contain what they need dietarily. I bought this to make sure their unique nutrient needs are met. I didn’t know if they would eat it though. Two seconds after I placed a bowl of it in their enclosure, all three babies are absolutely going to town on it with even more gusto than they attack grapes with. I think we have a winner. I’ll be turning on scheduled deliveries of it.
Opossum Food
My porch opossum loves this food!! He gets a helping of bananas along side the Opossum Complete. He eats them both! The bag is nearly empty so I'm ordering more.
Opossum likes it and is healthy
Using this during winter while it’s impossible for us to feed our juvenile opossum from nature / outside as critters are more scarce. He had no trouble transitioning to this food and is healthy (been on it for over a month now).
