Redbarn
Redbarn founders, Jeff Baikie and Howard Bloxam, became friends playing hockey together at the age of 12. After working for a natural pet food company in the ‘90s, Howard became convinced that the product could be improved, so he worked to manufacture his own recipe and began selling it under the Farm Fresh name. Jeff liked what he saw and partnered with his childhood pal to launch Redbarn in 1996; their signature all-natural Rolled Food was introduced a short time later. Jeff and Howard were committed to developing natural and limited-ingredient products at a time when natural offerings were few and far between, and pet owners were paying little attention to the ingredients in their pets’ food.
At Redbarn, natural is not a trend–it’s a philosophy literally and figuratively baked into the company’s foundation. Every day, the company strives to help their customers make educated and nutritious decisions for their dogs and cats. Today, their portfolio of over 200 products includes rolled and canned foods, natural bully sticks, bones and many more delectable treats.
