  • Mixed feelings about this food

    By on Top 50 Contributor

I wish there was a different way to review this food. Overall, I'm not crazy about Fancy Feast cat foods. I question how nutritious they are. One of my cats recently almost died. She needs to take a heart supplement daily and the only way she will take it is if it's mixed in with a can of Fancy Feast. I don't like that the first ingredient listed is meat by products. I would never feed this food exclusively to my cats, but it works to get the supplement into my cat. I will continue to buy it, but only to get my cat to take her heart supplement.

  • Food For Fussy Cats

    By on

Tigger, my fussiest cat when it comes to food, loves this stuff. I originally bought it for my other cat, but Tigger stepped in and lapped it up. It amazed me because he usually turns his nose up at most canned food. Give it a try!

  • liked overall

not sure why we never tried this flavor since it doesn't have fish in it, i guess because we never had a variety box pack include it i suppose. price was under $14 so i grabbed a case to try since other flavors we normally buy are higher in price lately. all the cats like this one almost as much as the beef & chicken pate that seems to be a favorite now that the tender chicken pate has changed..

  • The Best Ever

I wouldn't buy my cats food, treats or other products any where but @ Chewy.com. If it's broken or opened NO PROBLEM. They replace it free. Thanks Chewy. Debbie D.

  • Peanut and Cashew Love it

My two cats loved it. I bought it for the first time and they gobbled it right up. They love the pate so I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. Thank You Chewy.

  • Good for cats with allergies

    By on

This is one of the few cat foods that doesn't contain fish, dairy, or soy. I have a very old cat on a restricted diet. I tried several brands and flavors of very expensive, special diet cat foods that he wouldn't eat. This can be found in almost any grocery store, he likes it, and it doesn't have the ingredients most likely to give him trouble.

  • cat food for diabetic cat

    By on

I have two cats and one became diabetic and required insulin shots. We got rid of all the dry food and switched to wet food without carb-rich gravy (pro plan chicken, purina one class beef pate, all the fancy feast classic/pate varieties). my cat is off insulin and no longer showing any sign of diabetes. they prefer the purina one beef and pro plan chicken but like the Fancy Feast almost as much and it is half the price. YMMV but it worked for me.

  • Finally, a food my cats love!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I have tried so many canned foods for my 3 cats, expensive, cheap, highly rated, different flavors, textures....and 2 would barely lick the food and 1 would smell them and walk away. I was about to say "I am done searching for a canned cat food and you all can just eat dry!" Then I read a review on this food saying her vet said it was better because of the Omegas etc. SOOOO I bought it and prayed. All 3 of my cats LOVE this food. It isn't chunky and it isn't smooth, but a blend of the two textures. My cats, even the fussiest one, eat every bite and lick the plate. My search is finally over.

  • Just wish I could mix them up more.

I am happy with ordering from Chewy. Such a great company. The only thing is I have a difficulty trying to get a variety. My cats get board with the same thing. They are spoiled of course.
