Good quality

My two little dogs enjoy the Farmina food and are doing well on it. The only negative I have to say about it is that the package did not have an expiration date

My two little dogs enjoy the Farmina food and are doing well on it. The only negative I have to say about it is that the package did not have an expiration date. There’s been times in the past that I have ordered dog food (not from Chewy) and it came being very close to or even past the expiration date so I always like to check that and it kind of bothered me that it did not have it.

Only food suitable for my sensitive pugs

When a cardiologist told me my pug with a heart murmur should not be on 100% grain free food, I had to find something she could eat along with my highly sensitive boy. My boy had skin and ear infections at least every 6 months if not more. I searched the dog food advisor website for a food that could satisfy both of their needs. That was 8 years ago. Eight years later, my girl’s heart issues never progressed. My boy stopped having ANY ALLERGIES at all. And my two baby pigs have been on the same food also for 4 years. Every penny spent on food has saved me dozens of trips to the vet. And knowing my babies aren’t going to struggle with itchy skin and stinky ears makes me a happy pug mom.

Bite sized

Perfect size kibble for my little dog. She seems to like it and looks happy when I place it in her bowl. Doesn’t smell overly fishy.

My dog loves this food!

It is very difficult to find food that doesn’t have ground meal, lentils, peas, sweet potatoes, potatoes, etc. My dog has a bad heart, and I have to be very careful

It is very difficult to find food that doesn’t have ground meal, lentils, peas, sweet potatoes, potatoes, etc. My dog has a bad heart, and I have to be very careful of those legumes and in addition to that my dog is allergic to chicken. It seems that most dog foods add some chicken to their recipe. I also like the size. I scatter feed her meals and it takesher a long time to gather each of the small pieces of kibble.
