Possibly tainted dog food

We received this on auto ship last month and mixed in with the leftover from last bag and never had a thought about it until a week into this. But about 2 days later

We received this on auto ship last month and mixed in with the leftover from last bag and never had a thought about it until a week into this. But about 2 days later we noticed the dog was not acting normal. After the 3rd day she was vomiting and then no control on her stools. We took her in to the ER and they could not find anything wrong with the bloodwork as they were looking for infection and also checked for any bowel obtructions. All they could see was her digestive system was inflammed. She basically stopped eating and was lathargic. Took her back the next day to our family vet and then again 2 days later. Spent over $3,000 for her at the vet and no one seems to know what it is. We could not figure out what could have happened to her. Until i remembered i mixed in her new bag of dog food. So we discontinued the dog food right away in which she wasnt eating anymore anyway and the vet ended up giving us a digestive pro biotic. It has been over 2 weeks now since first systems and she is finally coming around. We cannot for sure 100 percent say it was the dog food but all signs point to it. Chewey did us right by crediting the food. I will be contacting the manufacturer as well. There is also another review from January about some of the same symptoms that our dog has.

This is NOT a review of the product, itself. It's, primarily on the delivery of the package, and Farmina packaging. I ordered 2 recipes of Tropical Mini - Lamb

This is NOT a review of the product, itself. It's, primarily on the delivery of the package, and Farmina packaging. I ordered 2 recipes of Tropical Mini - Lamb and Chicken. ***The Lamb Recipe package has a hole - approx., 3/16" x 2/16" in size, see pic 1 above. 1. This is the 2nd time in less than 3 months that products were delivered in sub-optimal condition. 2. Also, about the Farmina packaging, deciphering the list of ingredients in English is very difficult as the note is very blurry. Obviously, they slapped on the English language version as an afterthought. I appreciate Chewy including the information on its website. BUT, it should be on the package itself, and legible. Farmina needs to realize that the USA Pet Food market is THE largest in the world. For a perspective, the USA market is USD 62 Billion vs the entire Europe which is USD 45 Billion! 3. As such, Farmina needs to treat USA customers with due respect, and have the list of ingredients in English on the package. In fact, because of the size of the USA market, the list of ingredients in English language should be the most prominent one on the package, IMHO. 4. I will have a detailed review of Farmina (vs Dr. Marty Nature's Blend which my pup has been on for almost 9 months) itself after she gets to have the delicious looking kibbles.

Potentially Bad Batch

It doesnt smell like the other kibble that Farmina has. And it actually smelled a little bit toxic or metallic. I thought it was just because it was a different

It doesnt smell like the other kibble that Farmina has. And it actually smelled a little bit toxic or metallic. I thought it was just because it was a different formula and fed it to my dog, in the morning. I came home to vomit and diarrhea everywhere. I’m not sure if I had a bad batch or not. But that smell is definitely not right, I should have followed my gut feeling.
