We started slow with the cans - gave him maybe 1 TBSP in a dish to try. He gobbled it down. Then immediately had diarrhea the rest of the night. The smell was very enticing for him but something didn't sit well with his GI tract - he has IBD and pancreatitis and possible intestinal lymphoma. We were hoping this would keep him eating. Once his stomach settles, we will try the dry version.

He seems to like it and today I finally saw a small change in his poop. He has only been on this diet for approximately 2 weeks and it seems to be helping a little bit. He will be on this diet for a couple of months according to my vet. Hopefully this will help his diarrhea problem. We will see.

My cats wouldn't eat it

All I can say is, my cats would not eat it. I had to feed it the strays that come around. They'll eat anything, poor things.

Great food at great price!

Annie is a finicky cat but she loves this food! It's much cheaper than Hill's and appears to have cat friendlier ingredients - no corn filler.

This wet food looks & smells better than most cat food. However, I have 3 cats & no one will eat it. The IBD cat did try it at first, but after that, he refuses it & the other cats won’t eat it. It is chunky-style, but I smooshed the big chunks quite easily, but it’s made no difference in whether anyone would try it. I’m giving it 3 stars because to a human, it doesn’t look or smell bad, but unfortunately, my cats don’t care what I think!
