I’d give this less stars if able! Used it on my gray horse and within a week he had black scurf all over his body. I assumed it was fungus and got a special shampoo from the vet. When that didn’t work the vet evaluated in person and said it was probably a reaction to the fly spray. Since he tends to be sensitive and has a similar reaction to some lineaments I donated this spray to use on the foals and broodmares at my barn. one day later they all have hives. I
This works for at least a day for all my equine. Don't spray in the barn because is smells bad and you don't want it in their food or water. Kills flies on contact which is a little scary too.
5 of the 6 horses this was used on ended up with welts, edema, hives, etc.
This stuff burned all of my horses. :(
Both of my horses broke out into huge hives, swelling in their legs, were absolutely sore to the touch after first application which was barely a mist. One of my horses colicked from the reaction and I had to call my vet!!
I purchased this as you were temporarily out of my trainer's recommended brand. The ingredients are the same as the PRY... brand the formula just isn't as highly concentrated. I found it to work well and feel like it's a bargain. I wish it lasted a little longer, after 24 hrs its time to reapply, but I still consider it a good purchase and will use again in the future.
Pour this in a Sprayer and spray your horse and watch the flies die.
One of my horses got hives every time I applied. (I stopped as soon as I figured out the pattern.) Other horse was fine. I’ve used other Bronco sprays for years and tried the Gold for the added conditioners. Definitely not better.
All 5 of my horses broke out in terrible hives after using this product. 3 days later still trying to heal them an I have a show in a few days. Not sure what to do with $40 worth of spray my horses are allergic to. I feel terrible for them especially my yearling and 6 month old. Ages range from 6 mos. to 15 years and all had same reactions. Wish I had done research and seen this common complaint before purchasing. Horses have always done fine with the water based Bronco (white bottle).
Sprayed 5 horses late the other evening for first time with this formula of Bronco. I purchased a gallon. Returned home from work at 6pm following day to find all 5 horses covered in hives . I did some research on reviews all over and found this has happened to many customers. I only hope they dont get the dermatitus and blistering that some have. Pray it's gone before my next barrel race this weekend! Wish I had not spent $$ on a gallon of this stuff.
