Shake well before using. To protect horses from horse flies, house flies, stable flies, face flies, horn flies, deer flies, gnats, mosquitoes, lice, ticks, and deer ticks that may transmit Lyme Disease: Thoroughly brush the horse's coat prior to application to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses, shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Wait until coat is completely dry before applying Endure® Sweat-Resistant Fly Spray for Horses. Its unique water resistant formula contains a special conditioner that binds to the hair shaft so it keeps working even in moist conditions or when the horse sweats.
This product may be applied either as a spray or as a wipe. For horse's face, always apply as a wipe using a piece of clean, absorbent cloth, toweling (Turkish) or sponge. Wear rubber glove or mitt when applying as a wipe. Spray or wipe horse's entire body while brushing against the lay of the coat to ensure adequate coverage. Avoid getting spray into horse's eyes, nose or mouth.
Application should be liberal for best results. Reapply every 5 to 7 days under normal conditions for initial applications. As protection builds, reapply every 10 to 14 days as needed. Also, reapply each time animal is washed or exposed to heavy rain.

Great Fly Spray!

Would highly recommend Endure Fly Spray. Use this all the time. Works great. Lots of bugs here in FL. This is one of the fly sprays that actually keeps flies off our horses.Chewy has a good price on this product and love the free shipping I get when I order products for my horses, goats and cats.

Works for the whole ride

This works really well even when my horse gets very sweaty. The other horses are fighting flies and my boy has none to deal with. However, the bottle sucks, I'm just glad it still sprays, but the trigger gets stuck a ton and slips off the part it's supposed to push . Maybe it broke on the way to me though.

My fly spray of choice.

2 years ago I did a non-scientific test ob fly sprays that I had read good reviews about on my horse. I believe this product states that you can use it on dogs and I have used it on dogs I had in the past when deer flies were particularly bad. My lives in Massachusetts. I sprayed his left and right side with a different spray and watched for bite marks and visually watch to see if one spray seem to work better than the other. After he had had a bath I'd apply the spray that seems to have worked the best on one side and then an untried spray. Farnam Endure did seem to work better then the other major brand sprays that I tried. The Farnum may last longer than a day for mosquitoes, though for biting flies, deer flies and horseflies I apply it daily. For gnats in the spring I like the roll-on Farnum Endure product for the inside of his ears. I don't worry about getting fly spray in his eyes, even if I cover his eyes he hates being sprayed in his ears and it keeps me from having to spray the stuff on my hands to rub it into his ears. It's also convenient if you want to put the product on their face. The one product that has decreased the amount of biting flies in an amazing amount is predator wasps. I keep my horse at my house and we were getting flies inside daily. I'd also be swatting at them when I was out in the paddock, even though I mucked stall AND paddock daily and was careful in how I maintained manure pile. No more!! The only time I had a fly problem late last fall when the temperature stayed warmer than normal and the deliveries of the predators had stopped. I have already arranged to have them sent later into the year for this year. All I do is open the envelope and sprinkle them around the manure pile. My other mode of irritating bug protection for my horse is providing him with access 24 hour turn out with free access to shelter as he pleases. Most of the time he chooses to be out is when the sun starts to go down to around sunrise. … more
