I always try to keep a bottle of Farnam Wound-Kote Blue Dressing Lotion Spray in my horses' medical kit. Often there is an injury that needs to be cleansed and treated to prevent infection and to deter flies, but frequently these wounds are in areas that are difficult to cover or bandage. The Wound-Kote is easy to apply and does a great job in promoting healing. I also find that the flies are less likely to bother the wound after it has been treated with the Wound-Kote. The color does stand out on a lighter horse, however, that actually helps remind me of where the wound is and to check/treat it regularly.

Miracle Blue spray

Piggy was in terrible shape when I adopted her. Her belly was full of sores so I have used Blue Kote for years and knew it would work I sprayed her entire belly
