The Finish Line Orange-A-Day Electrolyte Horse Supplement helps to replenish both the electrolytes and the trace minerals that your horse loses through daily activities, like urination and sweating. If you’re worried about dehydration, you can lead your horse to water and let this electrolyte do the rest—it can encourage your horse to drink and promotes hydration. This product contains no sugar, artificial colors or fillers, so you know just what you are—and aren’t—giving to your horse. Since there’s no sugar, this electrolyte is suitable for insulin-resistant horses and those equines who are just a little too round for their own good.

Feeding Instructions

We recommend 1/2 oz daily for horses at rest in a cool environment or for horses performing light work at normal temperatures.

Feed 1 oz daily for horses doing moderate work at normal temperatures or or light work in hot climates.

For heavy training in normal temperatures or moderate work in hot climates feed 1 1/2 ounces daily.

During intense training in hot, humid climates, feed 2 ounces daily.

Got us through 100+ degrees

I have 5 horses ages 10-28 years and have had 60 days of 100+ degrees. Morning and night I give them Orange a Day electrolytes in their beet pulp and they have been thriving in this heat! They love the taste too! Love this stuff!

Excellent value

I have a lot of horses to feed and it's been HOT this summer, so the fact that this electrolyte comes in a 25lb bucket has been a lifesaver. I choose Orange-a-Day over other electrolyte products because it doesn't have added sugars or a bunch of fillers.

great for horse who won’t use salt block

Was surprised to find out that the picky horse hated the apple version of this product but he actually loves the orange flavor! He gets it twice a day with his sweet feed mixed with a little canola oil so it sticks & extra in the summer when it’s hot and he’s been running hard. I do feel like it has been helping, since we have less often caught him licking rocks and metal objects since he has been on it.

Love Finish Line products

My horses found this palatable, after their Apple-a-Day electrolyte was out of stock. Same guaranteed minimum analysis.. Great price. Read the label folks, you can use half as much as the 'other' brand for the same potency. Horses didn't have a problem switching to this, though their grain **is** soaked well before feeding so the powder is dissolved.

Electrolytes are a daily necessity here in the desert. We alternate between the orange and the apple flavors and he likes both equally. Thanks for having the option to mix things up!

My horses would not eat it and they are not picky eaters. Save your money and just buy salt.

Smells great!

My senior horses need electrolytes on hot, humid days to stay hydrated. This stuff does the trick! It is palatable, and I love that it does not contain a lot of sugar or artificial colors. Will purchase again!
