Every flea you see on your pet means that there are approximately 30 more living in your home. By applying Flea Away® DE as directed below to 3 zones you will create an undesirable environment for fleas and be extremely pleased with the results.
Zone 1 - Pet Dogs, Cats, Kitten, and Puppies Apply only to a completely dry pet. Lift up sprinkle spout. Turn container upside down holding it no more than 2 inches from your pet's body. Gently shake one time dispensing Flea Away DE from the back of the neck along the backbone of your pet using 1 teaspoon per 10 pounds of your pet's weight. (Ex: 3 teaspoons for 30 lbs. pet). Applying to backbone area first gently massage Flea Away ®DE into the skin area going against the grain of your pets' fur then gently massage into all other areas including head, ears (avoid eye and inner ear area), neck, tailbone, belly, legs, and feet. Repeat application weekly if needed
Zone 2 - Home and Carpet For best results use on dry carpet * Carpet - Vacuum first to bring fibers to the surface. Lift up sprinkle spout dispenser no more than 2 inches from carpet surface and shake approximately 1/2 teaspoon of Flea Away® DE onto 3 ft. x 3 ft. of carpet. Using a rug rake or broom very gently but thoroughly spread and brush Flea Away into fibers and matting of carpet. Repeat for every 3 ft. x 3 ft. of carpet. Vacuum the entire carpet 48 hours after each application to remove any excess dust. Repeat application again in one week. Once a month thereafter. * Sofa, couch, upholstery, chairs - If your pet is allowed in these area, there are fleas living under cushions and in the cracks and crevices. Simply take Flea Away® DE and rub into these areas once a month. No vacuuming is needed. * Pet bedding - Rub Flea Away DE into cushions, cracks, and crevices once a week. No vacuuming is needed.
Zone 3 - Yard and Outdoor Pet Areas To apply in your yard or garden, sprinkle Flea Away ® DE around outdoor areas where your pet spends time. Use approximately one bottle per 400 sq. ft. of yard. In areas close to the house try to get it into cracks and crevices creating a border in front of doorway entrances to home. The powder can be mixed with water and applied using a sprayer (use approximately two tablespoons per gallon of water). Fleas like shady, sandy, and moist areas. Be sure to remove yard debris and keep grass moved short in shady spots. Re-apply every 2-3 week in target areas if flea infestation is severe, or if you live in an area with a long flea season.

So I just received this product. The instructions on the product itself do not mention using the product directly on pets. But in the chewy listing it says you can. I’m not sure if it’s ok to use on my pet or not.
This is the first natural flea killer that actually works!!! I've spent hundreds of dollars on flea products which didn't work and had warnings about how deadly they were to pets I left it on the carpet 24 hrs then vacuumed and no fleas!! I wish I had found this stuff years ago!!
My dog has horrible flea infestation ajd it did not help at all.
keeps fleas away . i dusted floors and outside by door. i also put it on my dogs waited 2 day to sweep and mop and yes no fleas so far.
I'm pretty impressed with this product. It did exactly what it says.
I have used diatomaceous earth on all my pets, strays and feral cats for years. I bought this product for feral cats around a business that I frequent. I sat and observed a cat scratching on and off for half an hour. I recommended to a person that feeds these cats to sprinkle it in the border where the cats sleep. I purchased this particular product because it can be used outdoors and is food grade. Will be going back to the business shortly and hope to get a good report.
didn't like this product, too messy. My fault I thought it was the pills. I can't find the pills anywhere on your list? Fleaaway pills worked great.
My son visited with his two dogs. The dogs brought fleas into my house and the fleas jumped on my cat. I bought a topical flea treatment for him and put the Flea Away on all my carpets (after I found a flea on my leg). I haven't seen another flea me but there were still some slow movers on the cat. I put the Flea Away on the cat three days ago and haven't noticed any more on him. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This is a non-chemical treatment that I feel very comfortable using.
This works great! I love the fact that is is food grade and can be used with all of my animals. Already recommended to several friends!
I was surprised by how well this worked. Granted, it took a few days to notice an improvement, but the fleas my dog had were significantly reduced. This is a much better alternative to the harsh flea meds most vets give.
