Didn't work at all, I can see the fleas crawling on my cat and It didn't pick them up at all. Was better off using my hands.
I used this flea comb on my kitten to try and get the dead fleas off of her after giving her a bath and it did not remove them. I had to try to pick them out by hand or with tweezers. I definitely wouldn't recommend this for thicker coats of cats.
I LOVE these combs!!! They are THE BEST kind of comb to use, (and only comb in my opinion) that work for finding fleas, ticks and removing dandruff! My black lab Toby has an ongoing skin / fungal issue so I bathe him often. After his bath, the large pieces of dandruff are everywhere. This is the only kind of comb I can find that actually has teeth close enough together to remove the dandruff. I'm DEFINITELY buying the box of 100 next time since it is easy to misplace the comb lol.
This is a good comb made of plastic. It doesnt hurt her like the metal ones. sometimes she does not like them and they dont take hair out. Nice it has fine and extra fine sides. just to mention she is not a long fur cat but thick fur. I had a comb for years like this . it was a baby comb. This is the first one I have found since it broke . Now to trash the other 6 combs, and she loves being combed again. I'll buy another soon.
I don't use this comb for fleas, I use it to pick up the left over loose fur after I brush my cat. It does a better job than the brush does, I get a huge amount of fur, even though I just brushed her.
Use all the time, have a previous one that teeth are missing due to using so much. It's purrfect for combing out cat litter and other "stuff", along with cleaning dried food from around their head. Teeth are slightly different on each side. Good to have at several spots in your house.
The Frisco flea comb works very well at checking for fleas in my cat's fur. The closeness of the teeth are what really make it work. It is very sturdy and the teeth do no bend apart from one another. The price is also reasonable. We actually have four cats so this comb gets a real workout.
I bought this for cleaning my cat brushes. Does work for checking for fleas, but it gets a lot more use for cleaning.
Its OK on real soft short hair but not on Chihuahua s hair.
I should have read the description prior to buying. Plastic and it doesn't hold up against the short fur my girls have. I'll have to get the metal tined one instead. Trying to stay on top of not having a flea problem.
