Instructions

Hold can 2 or 3 feet away from surfaces to be treated. Be sure to apply uniformly using a sweeping motion to carpets, rugs, drapes and all surfaces of upholstered furniture. Be sure to treat all surfaces of pet bedding as this is a primary hiding place for fleas. No need to remove pet bedding after treatment. DO NOT TREAT PETS. Use a registered flea control product on your pets in conjunction with this treatment. Avoid wetting furniture and carpeting. A fine mist or spray applied uniformly is all that is necessary to kill fleas and ticks.

  • Fleas live here

I bought Virbac Knockout Area Treatment Spray and it seemed to slow the fleas from jumping around and disappearing at first. After a week after treatment the fleas seemed to come back stronger and not be working at all. I did not know if I should have mopped the tiled floor in the bathroom and the laminate wood flooring in the kitchen and dining room area. I did vacuum the carpets a week later and I still see and feel fleas on myself. I treated my cats with flea control drops and she has fleas also.

Used this on areas where our cats spend most of their time, in their bedding, towers, etc. It seems to have slowed the scratching down somewhat; if I can find a decent flea preventative to work with this spray, will have things under control. Although the smell is very strong, it dried quickly and didn't stain the carpet, bedding or drapes.

  • It works great

I have a flea infestation that went un-noticed by vet. I am using this to control eggs and adult fleas in all areas of my house. It is doing very well at keeping them from multiplying. Also using vets best to spray dog and cat. Fogging whole house, +vets best flea shampoo + vets best spray. Will return with results.

  • Virbac Knockout Knocks out Fleas!

Wow this stuff works, I wish I had bought two cans, but I was worried it would not work so I only bought the one can. Our building was infested with fleas due to a neighbor's dog. Everyone in our building except us bombed their apt. Since we have an indoor cat I bombing the apt was not an option. I called the local vets and they all recommended Knockout. A few of them sold it at their offices for $30. After researching online I found it on Chewy.com for under $20.

  • Not a total knockout but a good second step

Because it is harmful when wet I've had to go one room at a time to move animals around (who don't know each other by the way). Each animal was given expensive Advantage Plus or Revolution but I've learned dogs need Sentinel so that flea larva become sterile. Still working on the rooms. Wore plastic bags on my feet and a mask just to be safe. Vacuumed after I felt dead bodies would be present. And I've vacuumed again with a Rainbow vacuum. Know some product has to be used, but still seeing adult fleas on cats that I'm combing out. Feel I'll be doing a second spray. Carpet and furniture the culprits when the animals have been treated. So ordered a second can.

  • Is this effective

The smell is overwhelming and I suggest to open all your windows. I haven't been able to test the effectiveness of this but based off the smell, I think it would kill any insect in a 100 mile radius

My vet first sold this to me years ago. Was so happy with the results that I loaned it to others who had the same results. Thanks for making it available!
