Fleabusters RX for Fleas Plus Powder offers professional-strength flea protection in a do-it-yourself form. Using a statically-charged powder that is milled to be extremely fine, it’s easily installed by lightly sprinkling over carpets and furniture. The microscopic crystals then cling to the fibers and resist being sucked up by the vacuum, thus providing flea protection for an entire year. It works by clinging to the larvae as they pass by and dehydrating them, and is totally safe for pets and people. And because you only need a light coating, a single three-pound canister can treat up to five rooms in your house.

Key Benefits

  • Provides do-it-yourself, spray-free flea treatment that remains effective for up to one year.
  • Statically-charged powder clings to carpet and furniture fibers for long-lasting protection.
  • Neutral pH of 7.0 means larvae will not be repelled, and dehydrates them as they pass through the fibers.
  • Has both federal and state EPA registration and is safe for pets and humans.
  • One 3-pound canister covers up to 900 square feet or 5 rooms. All it takes is a light coating!

  • It works well

    By on

Kitty ran out on the porch and rolled in the dirtiest place where the opossums sit at night. She picked up fleas :gasp:. So I did the usual washing of everything that would fit in the washer that she's ever been on and vacuumed everything else. I shook the powder on the carpet and brushed it in, waited two days and vacuumed it up. About 4 days after using flea medicine on Kitty and the Fleasbusters on the carpet she was scratching just a few times a day instead of furiously scratching a lot. Now she's going back to her favorite spots on the carpet again and sleeping peacefully!

  • It helped with the infestation

    By on

My house was not that badly infested but I did get a good amounts of flea bites every day. Using this on my carpet really dehydrated the fleas and I've seen less of these buggers. I still see one or two here and there but it's nothing that is bothering me. Cons: Dust will get everywhere. It broke my vacuum cleaner... but its okay, my vacuum cleaner was not in the best shape. The dust just gave it the final blow.

  • Super Happy!!!

    By on

As suggested, I used a rubber band & nylon footy on the mouth of the container and rubbed it all over my furniture, as well as sprinkled it heavily on carpets and ground it in with a whisk broom. Wa-Lah fleas were gone! In fact, even before I treated my cats, their flea count was way down as well. Once they were treated, we were finally all flea free and they never came back!

  • Seems to work, smells terrible

    By on

It's been at least 3-4 weeks since I covered my basement carpet in the Fleabusters powder, and honestly, it was not fun to apply: sprinkle evenly, brush it in, then not use the space for about 2 days since you can't vaccuum and it left a strange musty scent. Starts to go away after vacuuming a few times but it was not plesant. On the plus side, we are seeing less fleas, the dog is scratching less and the product protects for up to a year (unless you shampoo the carpets). So I'd say 4 out of 5 is fair due to the application process and smell.

  • So far so good

    By on

I must say if you have asthma or if anyone else in tryout family does remove them from the house I wore a mask and I put some panty hose under the lid to make it not come flying out a white cloud surrounded the house but opened up all the doors and windows and placed a fee strategic fans here and there and it settled. Using the broom to push in the powder made it more dusty so I used sick clad feet and rubbed it in everywhere so far in conjunction with the vets flea meds I haven't seen too many fleas on my babies

  • Busting Fleas with FleaBusters

    By on

Would give it a five star rating except for the openings on the jar. Love not having to remove pets from house to do a treatment. The opening on the jar, is way to big for dispensing. We bought a flour sifter, and the powder just fell through it. We took a piece of panty hose and put it in the sifter to dispense the FleaBusters, and it worked great. Noticed a difference the next day. Will need to do a second treatment for the eggs, but worth every penny!

This was suppose to be an alternative to liquid pesticides and foggers. Well it didnt do the job for me. I still had fleas and ended up having to buy foggers. What a waste of $30, wish I could get my $$ back!

  • Bad flea problem

Had a very bad flea problem because someone brought a dog to my house that had bad fleas, which I discovered after he was already there. Used one round of this and it seemed to do the job.
