I use this on two of my rescue cats. Where I put the medication at on one of them 24 hours later I noticed a little raw spot. And he kept crying. I'm now treating that area with lidocaine but already I'm seeing new fleas so I pray to God that not going to get fleas inside of my house. But the worst part is that I wanted to cut a few corners and get something cheaper. It was a complete waste of my money and on top of it I had to get lidocaine and antibiotic topical from the veterinarian Plus the veterinarian has advised me that I cannot do anything else other than use a flea comb. I've got a broken arm right now and trying to hold down a cat and use a flea comb is incomprehensible. The veterinarian said he knew that seeing that I've got a broken arm he felt it would be highly unlikely I can give a flea bath or put a pill in their mouth every two to three days. The saddest part is that because I wanted to save $8 I allowed one of my rescue cats to hurt. I should have read every single negative review.

It killed the adult fleas, but i dont believe the eggs and larvae were killed off as within 2-3 weeks after use he was utterly infested again (hes an indoor cat) and the medicine didn't seem to kill the next generation. If your cat is tolerant of a nit comb, it could work just fine if you're willing to comb through their fur, but my little guy HATES that thing. So i did have to find a new flea med.

This product was a re-order, and it worked in the past. After 7 days of placement this time, flea control is nonexistent. I am unhappy with the results. It also had a much stronger pesticide smell this time as compared to previous purchases.

I don't have a horrible flea problem...however they do have a few after the dog got in the chicken coop and pick up a some. After using this product, the few little critters basically lifted up their tiny little legs and flipped me the bird. I would definitely not recommend and I get it. It's not like Chewy actually made this stuff...but it was a disappointment.

The treatment killed some of the fleas, but not all of them. We treated the bed and the rest of the house with a proven pesticide so I know that wasn't the problem. Within two weeks the fleas were as bad as they were before the treatment. We tried it again this month, again, not all the fleas were killed. I won't be using or recommending this product again. This is sad because now I can't treat her with anything else for a month and she's starting to lose weight.

This was the second low-cost flea treatment I have tried and the second that didn’t work. I put it on a week ago, and the cats are still scratching. They still have fleas that I can see. I was really hoping for a cheaper alternative to use because I am treating 15 cats and it can get a bit pricey. But I was very disappointed by this product and I do not recommend it at all.

Did not work

I bathed my cat in Dawn first (as I heard it's a flea killer also) and after she dried, applied Tevrapet. A week later and she still has fleas. Will not buy

I have 2 indoor cats. They sometimes pick up fleas from the dogs (also on flea meds but they can bring them in). Since using this product for the last 2 months, they have fleas. I have used it every 30 days as instructed. I just gave it to them 10 days ago and I found fleas on both. Getting a refund and ordering frontline. Also cats can get tapeworm from fleas so now I have to treat for tapeworms and spray my house for fleas. chewy shouldn’t sell this product! Useless

DOES NOT WORK

This product DOES NOT WORK! It was applied to a cat with fleas (new rescue) in the correct size and weight range, with the correct technique, and it did NOTHING

This product DOES NOT WORK! It was applied to a cat with fleas (new rescue) in the correct size and weight range, with the correct technique, and it did NOTHING to treat the fleas. I would like a refund for this product as I cannot use it if it has no affect on fleas. Can't imagine how little it would do for ticks!

Totally ineffective. Didn’t seem to last a month when fleas were minimal and after this last application she is covered in live fleas We get 5-6 every time we comb her (3-4x daily). No obvious infestation in the house and we no longer take her out in the yard. Now we have to wait a month to try something else
