I have been giving this product to my outdoor cats for over 2 years now and I've not seen one flea or tick on them. In fact, I just TNR a new cat that I started on this product and when I got him into the vet for neutering, they were surprised at how clean he was for a feral cat! I chop these up into smaller pieces and mix in with a small amount of canned cat food for their morning treat and then feed them their dry food throughout the day. I now have four cats (2 indoor and 2 outdoor) and have no qualms about allowing the outdoor cats inside as they are flea-free. Keep in mind, you must give this product enough time to be effective. I continue to get this for my outdoor cats; especially I have been giving this product to my outdoor cats for over 2 years now and I've not seen one flea or tick on them. I recently had to move back with my mother who has had a real bad flea infestation for the past couple summers. (We live in Texas) Her dog likes to hangout with the neighborhood dogs soooo.... no matter how much we tried it didn't matter because her dog would leave the treated backyard, so a never ending problem. So with two dogs coming to the end of the first bottle, we have seen great improvement with the flea reduction. My dog use to constantly nibble at the base of her tail and after coming home from being out of state for two weeks (3 to 4 weeks on the pill) she hasn't nibbled once. Still one or two seen tho.

  • flea away right

I tried it, my dogs wouldn't just eat the tablet,I had to hide it in treats, or give a treat right after they ate it, my pets didn't show any differently after using this they still scratch like crazy and bite at them selves, they have been bath and are house pets so they don't stay outside long unless they want to, in my opinion this doesn't work, I tried it with four pets and no change with either pet.

  • Dogs don't like and still have fleas

My dogs will not eat this pill at all. I try to hide it in a hotdogs and it's so suspicious they eat the hot dog and spit the pill out leaving me to chase them down and throw it down their throats. I've been giving it to them for 3 weeks now and they still have fleas. They are still scratching everyday like they have no treatment. I would not recommend this product. Especially NOT for cats.

  • I love this product!

Hello, seems to me everyone has their own opinion based on more of the life style of their pets and where each individual is living. I live in Alabama I have 2 small house dogs and they sit outside for hours I have seen no fleas or ticks. But that does not mean the pest will not jump on the pet and bite because I have one dog that is allergic to fleas and if they get on her for any amount of time she will break out with little pimple like bumps. I also, give them a bit of raw diet alone with the pills that also works well. I give this product a thumb up!

  • Tastes Baaaad!

My two English Fawn Pug's will not go near these pills! They Stink to high heaven and peanut butter, cheese, nothing works to hide the stentch! My boys are pretty smart, too. If it smells that bad, it can't taste good! Lol! I'm sure you can mask it with a Big Dog who would probably bae on a trash can lid and be happy!! I've had those! Sweet n lovable, but dumb as a post! Anyway folks, this concoction Will repel fleas, etc.. According to the listed ingredients. Good luck with that!

  • Highly recommend!

I gave these pills the recommended 30 day trial period and I am quite pleased. I just took my dog on a camping trip and did not have to pull a single flea or tick off of her which is a crazy huge improvement. I've got a flea free dog despite our adventures. I was a little worried that it would make her coat greasy or dry out her skin but it hasn't so it's an added bonus. My 70lb pup also seems to think they are treats so giving them to her every morning isn't a hassle despite the size. My only complaint is that they don't make a smaller version for cats but all in all it's a great product for dogs. A+

  • Dont bother

I purchased this product solely for the use as an alternative flea preventative. I started using it about 6 months ago. I will say that my dogs absolutely love eating them I don't have to hide them in anything! However once spring was over and summer got here and things got hot the fleas came out and all three of my dogs have fleas! So this product does not work to prevent fleas.

  • Works, but take it with a grain of salt

I have been using this for nearly 6 months now. It has worked. I THINK. No fleas since I have been using it (but my dog never had fleas anyways). Since taking it, I've seen one tick just chillin on top of his fur which I took care of within a few minutes and another time that it was burrowed in his fur not for more than an hour or two. Now, that may mean it doesn't work. BUT the description states that the repellant prevents ticks from becoming engorged, thus making them easier to remove. It doesn't say it stops ticks from latching on. I think that means when finding an attached tick, it's less likely to transmit disease as ticks tend to do only after 24hrs+ of feeding and becoming engorged. • 4 dogs 1 cat in NC

I was skeptical at first, 2 of my dogs didn't like the flavor so I coated it in peanut butter...problem solved. The pills are too big for my cat, I cut it half...problem solved. Yes it does take a good solid 30 days to work, I found that going into my 2nd bottle it worked much better and my animals are "bug free". I am now on my 3rd bottle and I quit worrying about giving them the topical when it came due...I now only treat with the topical every other month, which is a big savings for me since I have 4 dogs :) Awesome product !!!!!!!!!
