These don't have nearly enough veggies as it shows in the picture. Mostly pellets which bearded dragon should not be sustained on. Was hoping more for a jar of freeze dried veggies but no. Ended up feeding this to my dubia colony instead. Didn't want to waste it.
Nez, our juvenile dragon was so happy when we poured this in his food container. He kept looking up at me and down at his food, wouldn't touch it unless I said it was ok. His favorites are the fruits and veggies inside. Nez loves the crunch! I'd recommend making sure you get two because he went nuts on the first container we got.
The picture of the product made me believe I was getting a jar of mostly freeze dried fruits and vegetables but in reality I got mostly pellets. Very disappointing as I'm trying to get my young beardie to have a good variety of fruit and vegetables. I'm not saying I wouldn't recommend this product as my little guy hasn't even tried it yet but it is not what I thought I was buying.
I use this as a food for my dubia roaches to gut load them and they work really well for that on top of real veggies. I can’t speak to a bearded dragon eating it because I will not feed it to my dragon. But for feeders? Perfect.
My beardie usually doesn't like eating veggies, but they were tearing this thing up! 10/10 would buy again :D
if you read most of the reviews you will see that most jars come with mainly pellets and little veggies, even so, i figured i'd buy it and give it a shot. my jar came about almost half veggie half pellet, nothing to really complain about and my beardie really enjoys it! he mainly goes for the veggies at first but he does also eat the pellets (just a little less enthusiastically lol). overall i think it was definitely a good buy and is nice to have on my shelf as an option for him!
This is mostly all red pellets, our bearded dragon liked the tiny apples but didn’t touch anything else
Good product, but my beardie doesn’t seem to like it very much.
So yet another item by Flukers that looked good on paper. I chose to try these as an addition to bearded dragon's varied diet after reviewing the ingredients and not one of them will even try it. Tried mixing it in with their greens and it just falls to the bottom of the dish so no good. Tried adding a little water and still nothing. However, I also breed hissing cockroaches and dubia roaches as feeders for my dragons and the roaches love this stuff. Infact it's the only dry food I've been able to get the hissers to eat so I'll continue to order it for them and it will make its way into my dragons diet one way or another.
Our beardie prefers real veggies and fruit but she will eat this on the days I forget to grab her favorites at the store.
