We received these meal worms for our gecko and they were disgusting. They came a day earlier than expected too. When I went to open the can, it exploded. It hurt my thumb and finger because of the pressure of the can exploding, and all of the meal worms were dead and smelled absolutely disgusting. My sons room now needs to be completely aired out before he can be in it because it smells so bad. And we had no mealworms to feed our lizard.
I can't personally say how these taste but my turtles love them! I will definitely buy again.
In between feedings I store worms in a freezer bag and put them into the freezer and take out as needed. No waste.
Got these for my death feigning beetles and they really enjoyed them - do remember to refrigerate or your gonna come back to mold-galore.
My hedgehog loves these mealworms as snacks! I give him about 5 per night bc hedgies can’t eat too many of these, so my only con is that almost half the can goes bad before he can finish them
Bought this for our aquarium turtle. He does not like these. They sink to the bottom of the tank. He likes his food floating. If your pet will eat from the bottom of the tank, this looks like some really good stuff to feed them. Looks and feels very fresh. My turtle just wont eat anything on the bottom of the tank.
I can just tap the can on the ground and my ducks rush over and gobble it down within seconds. very moist and cheaper than other brands.
The mockingbird pair that hangs around my yard cannot get enough of these worms. In the summer they will fill their beaks with at least five or six worms and feed them to their young.
When my package arrived most of the meal worms were dead and it’s not very healthy to feed lizards dead meal worms .
AHOULD LIST NOT LIVE these where pickiled not live
