How long does this last in the refrigerator once opened?
Answer by ChewyFeb 01, 2018
This product does not need to be refrigerated and will last at least 3 months.

How long will this last for 40 crickets at a time? i buy 40 crickets every week and they are mostly gone by the end of the week.
Answer by ChewyJul 26, 2019
The amount of this supplement needed by your crickets will vary by the size of the insects in your orchestra. A group of 40 crickets should be able to consume 2-5 of these cubes in a week, depending on their size and level of activity.

I have 3 fire belly toads. Can I put directly in toad tank, or should just be placed in cricket cage? I just inherited these toads so still learning
Answer by ChewyOct 08, 2017
Although, the supplement is easily digested by both crickets and the animals that consume them. We would recommend that you put this directly in the cricket cage for at least 24 hours.

Can I feed this to my Dubia roaches that I feed to my leopard gecko?
Answer by ChewySep 26, 2019
This item can be used for other insects but is formulated for crickets.

Has Citrus in it

Unfortunately Citrus is bad for reptiles like BD so I can’t gut load my bugs with it or use it I thought it was orange because it was carrots this was my error but they shouldn’t make bug food with citrus

Wouldn't purchase again.

There really doesn't look to be anything wrong with this product however my crickets won't touch it so it's of no use to me. No big deal. I'll feed it to the roaches. They haven't touched it either. I can't say it's exactly the fault of the product but it's wasted $$ as nothing I have will eat it.

Happy Dragon

The bearded dragon likes it. Very happy with this product. Useful when I can't get out to get live crickets.

Crickets Eat It

For less than $3 this was a steal. Crickets took to it immediately.

None of them will eat it

I've had 3 batches of crickets from 3 different suppliers, plus what has bred in my tank, and none of them will touch this stuff. I was hoping to provide water without the drowning risk, but ill just stick to a regular sponge.

Great 2 in 1 gutload & moisture for live Lizard/Tarantula food

Great moist nutrient for crickets, mealworms, and other insects..kept to feed lizards, turtles & Tarantulas..moist diced pieces provide vitamins, necessary nutrition (Calcium rich), simultaneously providing essential moisture for insects...providing truly nutritious meals for ones pet 'poikilotherms'. (cold-blooded animals). More affordable at Chewy, than anywhere else!

Good for cricket nutrition

With several exotics in the house, I keep a lot of live crickets for feeding purposes. These cubes work great as part of the cricket diet. They provide nutrition and moisture. They do dry out fast, but I just mist them down to re-moisten them and then throw them out when they've lost their color.
