Does repta-boost make your reptile gain weight? My water dragon looks like he has a bloated tummy ever since I've started repta-boost?
Answer by ChewyNov 15, 2017
This product will help your reptile gain weight then proceed to keep it maintained. You can decrease amount the you're feeding if your reptile is gaining too much weight.

I just rescued a baby leopard gecko yesterday from FB marketplace. She is extremely malnourished and has no fat in her tail. I just ordered this. How frequently should I give it to her? And should I still try to feed her mealworms or crickets the days she gets this?
Answer by ChewyApr 27, 2021
Fluker's recommends mixing this supplement to the consistency of oatmeal. If your reptile is severely dehydrated, make this supplement fresh each feeding and give a syringe full, about 3 times per day. This supplement is like Pedialyte for a child. It will keep your reptile hydrated until they start feeling better. Once they are feeling better, you can start to introduce the crickets and mealworms back into their diet.

Can I give this to my ball python? Or is this just for lizards
Answer by ChewyApr 10, 2018
This supplement is safe for use with: Bearded Dragons, Geckos, Chameleons, Boas, Ball Pythons, Monitors, Frogs, Corn Snakes, and other Insectivore/Carnivore Reptiles and Amphibians.

How much can I give my 3mo bearded dragon? She isn’t eating much of anything lately!
Answer by ChewyJul 21, 2021
The amount is based on your pets weight. Please refer to the attached general weight reference and mixing instructions to determine your pets dosage.

Dragons hate the taste

I’m not sure if this product works for putting weight on them or not . I can’t get mine to eat it , they push the syringe away or spit it out if I do get any in them .

Miracle powder

Someone gave me a juvenile beardie that really needed saved. He was so lifeless when I got him..no heat lamp either or uvb. He was litterqlly laying there with his mealworm just crawling all over this poor guy. I ordered this and this stuff helped so much and got him to start eating and get sum strength in him. So Definitely something to use especially if your baby is sick.

Lifesaver!

My 12-year old bearded dragon can be fussy and sometimes refuses to eat. This supplement has been instrumental in keeping him healthy and happy.

Saved my gecko’s life

I am so happy I purchased this. My gecko was very sickly looking. Her tail was so thin and her eyes had sunken in and closed. I thought she was going to die. The supplement got here in a couple days and I began syringe feeding the gecko every day. I went in to feed her Friday and her eyes were wide open, she feels heavy, her tail has fat, and I I saw her have a bowel movement. I literally cried. It only took less than a week to get her back on track.

Saved My Leopard Gecko

I adopted a young leopard gecko I had been pet sitting. My 1st reptile. So I am a novice. Had it about a year. Then noticed shaky back legs. Loss of appetite. Then it was almost stiff already as it wouldn't come out of its cool hide. I handled it & swore it was dying. Found this online, but sent my son to pet store as I couldn't wait a few days to get the order. Mind u I couldn't take it to the vet because I had covid! As soon as I mixed it up, I put some on her mouth. She started licking it right up. I gave her the dose & she really loved it. Within a few days there was improvement. She was alert & eating. I've been giving it to her once or twice a day depending on how much I actually get in her mouth. Her legs aren't shaky like they were. And in general she's about 99% back to normal. Actually chasing her crickets. Eating a lot. I know this saved her life!! I will continue to give a few times a week even once she's fully recovered. And yes, she's always been given calcium supplements, but I believe the one the reptile place gave them was not correct for an albino leopard gecko. As they can't be under lights. I switched to Zoomed which has more vitamins & vitamin d3 than what she came with. I definitely recommend having the Flukers repti boost on hand just in case you need it in case of emergency or as an weekly supplement etc.

Juvenile bearded dragon

My bearded dragon was not sick but really just needed a boost as he just got a new enclosure and is growing very fast. He is an extremely picky eater and will not eat veggies or eat from a string unless forced, so I carefully put the end of the syringe in his mouth and pushed a small amount in and he immediately began to swallow and didn't spit it out like I was expecting. He ate all of his dosage and everything worked out great. I love flukers, they've never let me down.

Amazing product

I purchased this product after seeing a youtube review for it. My gecko has been sick and because I am an amateur, I wasn’t sure what to do when she stopped eating. I’ve done tons and tons of research, I bought several products and took her to the vet twice. The vet gave me an antibiotic and I previously purchased a food replacement for her but it didnt help much. The pictures attached are only 3 weeks apart. Her starting weight was 20g and I weighed her tonight and she’s at 30g! I’m so happy and relieved. I was so terrified I wouldn’t be able to save her but thanks to this amazing product, I have been able to start nursing her back to a healthy weight. I am so happy I found this product and I will continue to use it as long as I have to
