Cats ignoring it
I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately my two cats ignore this entirely. I am sure many of you had a great luck with this, but not me I kept it at the corner of the room next to their floor scratch pads; turned it this way and that way, even held their paws against the tube, but no interest. After so many months, I finally gave this never-used thing to my doorman. I hope he has more lock with it with his cats than i did.
Not As Expected - Cat Doesn't Like
I purchased this expecting it to have a soft sizable covering such as carpet. Instead it is rope and my cat does not like it. I am disappointed with my purchase. It is such a chore for a disabled man to repackage it and send it back that I guess I'm stuck with it. The description of the product is somewhat nondescript and doesn't really tell you the type of sisal covering.
Nice Looking Post but Beware
The post is smaller than I thought it would be but it's nice looking. The sisal rope is a bit harsh. It has these little plastic whiskery type things sticking out. I didn't realize it until I was putting this together and I got stabbed several times. Maybe it's too hard for her old paws and that's why she won't use it.

I’m not impressed. Quite disappointed actually. The scratching post comes in multiple pieces, not counting the base. Once assembled, it’s does not stand up straight and is wobbly. Would not recommend!
Durable and affordable!
I purchased several of these a couple years ago and still have three of them! I have wrapped new string around them each ONCE in a two year time frame. I have four cats and these have really held up. I will be eventually replacing them and donating these older ones to a shelter to get for hopefully a few months as they still are standing and wrapped with new string. Great purchase!
Great scratcher!
I think it helps firstly to know if your cat prefers vertical or horizontal scratchers, but mine love them! They're spoiled and like an easy post to scratch, so no tough dried grass scratchers or very sturdy cardboard. This scratcher may not last as long as those types in comparison, but it's one my cats' favorites! The best price I've found and very easy to put together, 10/10 scratching post
Awesome product
As soon as I set it up, my cat immediately went over to the scratching post and started using it! And the toy, which I thought she would ignore, keeps her entertained. I would submit a photo but the one shown by the product is exactly what my cat looks like with her new scratching post.
Exciting but fragile
Our cats love this. The only downside is that the attached toy (on an exciting elastic string) lasted less than 12 hours before they pulled it off. I haven't seen it since. They still like the post itself, though.
Purrfect post
I put this together in seconds and my kitty loves it already. Hopefully it will last her a while. She tends to destroy these types of posts in a few months but, for the price, I can't complain because it keeps her happy and keeps her from scratching up the furniture.
Works like a charm
Cats love it, easy to put together, and they scratch on it like they're supposed to. Sometimes they'll even climb it and use it to get onto other surfaces, which is cute. Love it!
