Perfect!
Our senior cat lost his best buddy earlier this year. I didn't want to make any sudden changes but when Ozzy started getting vocal and vet tests came back normal, I treated him to a new small cat tower for the living room near my chair. Ozzy took right to it. Perfect size for the room and for Ozzy. Quality is great and it arrived already assembled. Used the vacuum attachment just to get the carpet fuzzies removed and it was ready to go! Aldo purchased the Frisco cactus catnip kicker toy and Ozzy loves the crinkle sound it makes.
Frisco cat tree in gray
I'm very pleased with my cat tree. After reading reviews I was concerned about the gray carpet looking unattractive and strings and flaws throughout. The tree is super well made and came assembled. No flaws and the sisal roping is thick and my male cat took right to it. The kitties balked at first using it after replacing the old stand by but now they've claimed it and like it. No terrible smell either in the carpet. I wasn't disappointed in my cat tree at all.

Very disappointed! The carpeting is so thin that the seams show thru to the black backing. That’s just the seams. Again, the carpeting is so this I see the backing of the carpet. If the carpet was thicker this wouldn’t show, nor would the carpet threads be already shedding. This all was outstanding after I had it less than a week. I bought this stand because there wasn’t something simpler like I had before, which lasted 2 years. Nothing locally either. I’ll never buy Frisco, nor anything from Chewy again. Obviously Chewy doesn’t vet what they are selling.
Perfect
I adopted a 6 year-old kitty who was relinquished to foster care and waited 3 months for her furever home. She now lives with me in my apartment and this piece is her special spot in my living room. She spends lots of time on the top level looking out the sliding glass door, loves it, and it's perfect for her needs and my living space. That it arrived already assembled is a huge plus. It was an instant hit.
They love it!
My cats only like to scratch carpet so I was on the hunt for a replacement cat tree (old one was absolutely torn up), and gave this one a shot. It came fully assembled, it's really sturdy, and so far my cats have been loving it! Not as much as the previous one...which believe it or not was from Meijer. Overall great tree, especially if they prefer the carpet ones.
Great Inexpensive Cat Tree
This tree came fully assembled and my cats loved it straight out of the box! Before I had a chance to sprinkle catnip, the were on it. I would recommend this as a great small cat tree if you have limited space. It's sturdy and fits well in the small space I have for it.
Cheap Made
Carpet ending was right at the seam with the rope full of loose plastic threads sticking out. Carpet had a row of the underlying plastic where it was rolled over the edge of the lower perch. My kitty will be occupying herself with the loose plastic threads. Since I don't have a car to get it to a FedEx store, I called a local shelter to donate. I have three 65 inch towers purchased between 2010 & 2016 & all of them are exquisitely finished & I paid between $150 & $200. One of the two twin towers has very thick cat proof carpet--very specific just for cats. All of them are carpeted all around & no loose anything anywhere where seams & rope meets. This top perch is not flush with the bottom so does not stand close to the window. Wages are high & you need to be careful how you spend money. Another world wide seller offered this same model type for $10 less. I won't be purchasing any more. I will go back to check the manufacturer of the two twin towers I have & find who the were. Disgusted. But the are sturdy, all right.
So Nice I Bought It Twice
I purchased this a year ago for a new kitten and then bought a second one when I got a second kitten this year. I like that it’s sturdy and has two sisal scratching posts (which my kittens love). It’s not as tacky as some towers and the top landing is big enough for them to stretch out. I got it in beige and my only complaint is that you can see the stitching/staples through the carpet and there are long, stray nylon threads that poke through. I trim them every few months.
Exposed Sharp Staple Ends on perch corners
Right out of the box, I felt the sharp ends of staples sticking out of both corners of the second perch. Outrageous! Upon closer inspection I found at least 4 to 5 staples that were either loose or sticking out at sharp angles that would have hurt and puncture my pets had I not closely inspected this cat tree. Also, chunks of carpetting with sharp hard glue fell out with just minor handling. Extremely disappointed with the carelessness in construction. I was happily looking forward to this item because it offered the right heights for my two kitties favorite window. One took to it right away as soon as it was out of the box and I'm beyond furious and disgusted that he could have been hurt and punctured by this item's poor and dangerous workmanship. Please inspect your item for sharp staple and prevent your pet from being hurt! The only positive that I found was that it came fully assembled right out of the box.
Recommend
I have senior cats that eat on the kitchen counter. I was looking for something to make it easier to get up and down. This is nice and sturdy, and each level is roomy. Dropped one star as the middle level would be better is it was a few inches longer, making it easier to go from the middle to the top.
