About Frisco Cat Trees

Cat Trees With Sweet Amenities

Frisco Cat Trees are made for kitties to do everything they love to do. Whether your cat is an avid toy chaser or professional napper, she'll be able to do it all in one spot—her very own tree. With so many climbing, jumping, playing and scratching amenities, these trees are great for feline family members in multi-cat households.

Interactive Play Areas

Cats are natural hunters, so they can get a little frisky—even the couch kitties. Frisco Cat Trees have dangling toys like fuzzy balls, swinging ropes and classic mice to stalk and bat around. That's way better than pouncing on your feet under the covers or swatting a string that's hanging from your favorite sweater.

The Ultimate Watchtower

The higher up, the better, if you ask any cat. Frisco agrees, which is why they've added perches and platforms for climbing to the very top of the tower. It's the best view in the house, and the perfect lookout spot for kitty to keep an eye on her sprawling domain.

Kitty-Size Apartments

All-day snoozes are part of your cat's daily routine. Frisco Cat Trees are equipped with state-of-the-art studio apartments for hiding out or catching up on 16+ hours of sleep. They are soft, comfy and they have reinforced corners that are covered in faux fleece or plush material.

Scratcher's Delight

There are tons of places for scratching—a favorite kitty pastime. Let the clawing frenzy begin with high-quality scratch posts covered in durable sisal rope. Frisco's Cat Trees provide multiple posts, and most have scratch board ramps to satisfy this instinct.

2-in-1 Pet Steps

Frisco gives cats plenty of ways to get high off the ground, including pet steps. Set them up next to your kitty's favorite windowsill, or let them stand alone as a place to stretch, climb, play and lounge. These versatile steps offer two different height options to fit your needs. They come with easy-to-follow instructions so you can assemble them as three steps or four.

About Frisco

Would this fit well into a corner??
Answer by ChewyDec 10, 2017
The cat tree can be put in a corner.

Is the Large Base 72 inch cat tree covered in a different fabric than the regular 72-in cat tree? It seems from the review pictures that the "large base" model is covered in carpet, and the other one is covered in a faux fleece type fabric.
Answer by ChewySep 12, 2018
The Large Base tree has a carpeted base, while the Regular is covered in a faux fleece.

A favorite with my cats

I have a lot of pictures with three or four cats on the tree. It is a favorite place for my cats to relax, and they love using the sisal rope posts to sharpen their claws. All of my cat-owning friends want one. Note that you must attach the top platform to the wall with the provided bracket to keep it from falling over. My big black cat doesn't hop up onto the tree. He makes a flying leap at full speed with all 13 pounds of himself and has knocked lesser cat trees over in the past. But once attached to the wall, this cat tree is plenty stable. He can be roaring down the hallway at full speed and leap onto the top platform and come to a screeching halt, and the tree doesn't budge at all, and neither does the platform. Downrated one star because I have another Frisco cat tree with similar construction to this one, and after five years it's pretty much done. The materials are cheap and the durability isn't there. My cats are hard on cat furniture! Meanwhile there is a cat tree in another room from another brand that I got off of a freecycling group, and I have owned it for around 15 years now after it was already used. It is still in servicable state today. Still, I would buy again. The cats love it. My pocketbook won't love it when I have to replace it in five years or so, but. Sigh. The things we do for our cats.

The Best Cat Tree

I have two medium sized cats (one about 12 lbs and one about 10 lbs) and they absolutely love this cat tree. It's extremely sturdy- the only trick there is to build it well by screwing all the parts together very tightly. It's very tall and the kitties can easily look out the top part of the window into the backyard. One of my babies likes to sleep in the little condo area. I shopped around for weeks before finally settling on this tree, and I'm very happy with the final outcome. I've had it about 6 months now and would definitely buy again. I cut off the little mice as the elastic stretchy bands seem like a hazard if you have a cat who likes to swallow strings. Other than that, it's great.

Not as strong as expected!

Bought this for my 3 cats, Catzilla, Mr. VooDoo and Minkee. Catzilla almost 13 lbs has a little problem jumping on climbing to the top, the others (20 lbs and 14 lbs) find it is not sturdy enough for them and jump off as it wobbles. It is definitely not as strong as my Kitty Mansions Beverly Hills condo which definitely is more sturdy and all 3 have no problem with it. It looks the same, but unfortunately is not. Would only recommend for kittens or under 10 lbs cats.

well…..

It’s a great tree! Sturdy. Well-made. But a bolt was either missing or borrowed by one of my cats as a toy and my only options were to return for refund or return for exchange. No, they can’t replace a bolt.

Sturdy, Holds up very well

I ordered this cat tree 6 years ago, in the summer of 2018. I cannot attest to the quality of how they're made now, but at the time they were clearly made phenomenally. I don't have giant cats or anything, but they also aren't small. They have ranged 8.5-12lbs since I've had the tree and they use it ALL the time, mostly the top perches. Sometimes the bolts loosen as they move them, but it will be months at a time and I just spin the perch back to tighten it when I notice it get wobbly. I have always had it against a wall to support one side just because it's so big, but its really stable regardless. As you can see it still holds up enough to support my 60lb dog even after all this time 😂 (that pic was this morning) The perches are a great size and not small at all, which is frequently a problem. The structure is stable, even the perches themselves, and the particle board is really sturdy. I have also taken this tree fully apart twice, once was this year for a cross country move. The bolts were still fine and not striped, my only issue was finding an alan wrench to fit them since I lost the original. If I ever need another cat tree I'm definitely getting this one again!

My third one!

I bought this to replace one that had no chance of standing up to my year-old ginger boys. They love it, and are in the process of trying to destroy this one as well. I've had both the ivory and brown, and the ivory one has many better features...the sisal goes all the way to the end of the posts, and the fabric covering is thicker/plushier than the other, and seems to be easier for the kitties to grip.

Our Bengal started climbing it before we finished assembling it.

Our cat is super active and extremely curious about almost everything. He has figured out how to open doors of all sorts. When we were studying Spanish and had the house covered with post-it notes, there were some in the hall about six feet up the wall. He decided to take those down. After we figured out why those notes didn't seem to stick, we encouraged him by putting them back--higher and higher--and he's now knocking them off the wall with a paw-swipe at over 6'. So we wanted a cat tree that might challenge him. He's already jumping from the floor directly to the platform next to the top--and we think that if the highest wasn't in the back in a walled corner, he'd make the leap to that one. He loves it and has so far napped in and on both boxes and on every platform. Plus he scratches happily on the sisal-rope covered posts. He's happy. We're happy.

Nice

I bought this in 2019 and after about 3 years the posts were completely shredded and there is no way to get replacement posts. the fabric on the tops where my cats lay are pretty thin as well after a couple years of use. My kitties love this thing and it is very sturdy considering they both weigh 20 pounds each. I wish there was a way to get new posts without having to buy a whole new one but overall I am happy with this product and will be buying a new one!

great

My kitten couldn't use this when we first got him at 10 weeks since he was only a pound. But at 13 weeks he got to the top no problem. We anticipate our kitten to get about 12 pounds and was trying to get a cat tree that allowed for larger weight cats. This is PURRRRRRRRRFECT! My only wish was that it had a hammock, and a first shelf lower to the ground as our kitten struggles to get started. We have a box next to it for him to jump on until he gets bigger. He loves all the dangly mice/toy/rope, and it was easy to put together. I wish I had wore gloves to put it together since the cylinders all have scratching posts, which I like this feature, but it hurt my hands to twist tight, and I should've worn gloves. Overall, great product for the price.

Great quality cat tree

I have 3 of these cat trees in various places of the house and absolutely love them. They are sturdy, easy to assemble, and all 6 of our cats use them to play, scratch, and sleep. The best cat tree available and a very reasonable price!
