How dark does this get? Trying to block out the sight of lightning

This cover does not block out lighting. There is space between some of the sides that allow light to get through.

Somewhat disappointed

Nice material but the brown is not brown, it’s more of a gray and black. I bought 2 and both tags say they are brown but they definitely are not and do not look good in my living room where everything is a brown tone (see pic). Also, only the front flap and one side roll up, not both sides. Not a huge deal, just turned it inside out on the one but it doesn’t lay as nicely as the one that fits as it should.

4.5 stars - almost perfect

I had my doubts about this cover when I initially ordered it. However, it’s turned out to be a pretty good fit for my puppy. She’s a German shepherd, so the lighter weight material keeps the light and heat out without causing her to feel hot in her crate. I had considered the canvas crate cover, also, but glad I opted for this one. The fit is perfect if used with the Frisco 42” crate. My only critique is that the snaps are a bit counterintuitive when you want to roll up a panel. Otherwise, I’m very pleased with my purchase!

Measurements aren’t correct

Unfortunately small - got the 30 in for my 30 inch crate, and the edges do not line up and let light into the crate. Good quality and price otherwise. Just disappointed in the sizing as 36 inches would likely be too big.

product just okay

This product is super nice in theory, but it is just a bit too long for our crate (which is the same size this cover is intended to fit) so it gets in the way when walking near/around the crate.

Great quality, unhappy with color

Excellent quality. Thick construction with nice snaps. Only downside is the color. I ordered brown, it’s much more of a grey charcoal color. It’s still neutral, but much darker than I anticipated.

Not the Best

Maybe it's because I bought the "Frisco Heavy Duty" crate instead of the regular one, but this barely fit. I was disappointed because I thought because they were made by the same brand, it would fit the corresponding size perfectly. I ended up buying a third party one that fits so much better, and even had ties to keep it in place. This wasn't a win for us.

Stylish and practical

This cover fits our kennel/crate very nicely. It looks great in the rooms Which is important since it's in our living room. I like that I can roll up the side in warmer weather. It will be great if both sides rolled up. But I knew that when I ordered it. So no complaints.

Great cover for enforcing naps

We used to cover our crate with 3 towels each time we wanted our puppy to take a nap. Immediately picked this up when I saw it and it's been so much easier to put our puppy to sleep. Nice feature is that there are two flaps for the two-door frisco crate so you could even leave it on after you open the doors (if your dog doesn't pull it off right away)

Functional and not an eye sore

We moved our dog's crate into our sunroom as it's her favorite room, but we wanted to provide her with some shade so she doesn't overheat. There's a lot of crate covers that are kind of ugly and others that have loud patterns. We wanted something neutral and simple and this does the trick. Selected the solid color so it doesn't clash with other decor in the room. Easy to get on and works great.
