Does the mat fit in the crate when the divider panel is in?

That world depend on what crate you have. It would fit in the crate I have, as the divider stops about 2 inches from the bottom of the crate. We have been able to flatten our crate with the dog bed remaining in the bottom, so I think it would fit fine.

Is it relatively chew proof

Quiets the crate movement noise

The bolsters really help to quiet the crate noise when my puppy moves around. The flat mats I previously used didn’t give any edge padding and I realized he was

The bolsters really help to quiet the crate noise when my puppy moves around. The flat mats I previously used didn’t give any edge padding and I realized he was using his little blanket to pad the edges himself (smart little guy.) My only concern is that the fabric and /or padding seems like it might trap heat; great for a cat or an older shorter-hair dog, but my fluffy mini goldendoodle seems to run hot. I compensate by running the ceiling fan at a higher speed during his daytime naps. At night he has to adjust to my comfort level of fan tho since his crate is beside my bed .

Nice but a Bit Thin Bottom pad

Crate mat appears well made but a thin bottom pad. Sides are nicely padded. I will just put a fluffy blanket over the bottom.

Definitely not for chewers!

Beds were delivered today; we had the dogs on their new beds while we cleaned up around the house; there was cotton everywhere in 5 minutes. I got these because

I got these because I searched “chew proof beds” but these are definitely not that. The material is super thin and probably fine for dogs who don’t like to chew things up.
