Is there a bottom to this house, or does the scratch pad just lie on the carpet?

I dont own this particular one (but am buying it). But I have bought many, many scratcher houses through the years. And none have ever come with a bottom other than the scratcher part. But what I do so I can pick the whole thing up to move it for vacuuming, is use clear packing tape and just tape the scratcher to the 4 sides. If you really needed a bottom for some reason, you could lay the scratcher on the box it came in, trace the scratcher onto the box, and tape that on under the scratcher.

Can I get a refill scratch pad for the Christmas cat house?

How durable is it?

The durability can vary since it depends on a cat's play style. Cats who chew or scratch aggressively may wear it down more quickly, while cats who mostly lounge or nap inside often get much longer use out of this cat house. It should not be taken apart and reassembled since that can weaken the cardboard.

The wall construction on this house is much stronger than the 2 previous houses we had a few years ago. The tab locks work great and there is much more room for my two cats to go inside and move around. While they do not like to be inside together they enjoy their time inside scratching and even napping. They have pushed it around to put it where they want it and the large doors give them plenty of room to get in and out. The previous houses had flimsy tabs that didn't hold the house together well and they crushed both of them when they climbed on them. This one is also taller than either of the previous houses. I have a 8 year old male who weighs 12 pounds and a 4 year old female who weighs 3.2 pounds. Either one has plenty of room to lay down inside and take a nap. My little female has claimed it as her house and uses it most of the time. I would recommend this house and will be looking forward to getting another one soon.

I purchased the Frisco Holiday Log Cabin for my big cat, Riley, and I'm so glad that I did! He loves it! When I was "building" it, he was inside making sure it was done right. He lays inside, uses the scratching board, and he dives inside after a bout of zoomies! I highly recommend it and will be buying in the future. And at $13.99 it was a great deal.

Callie is a 12lb domestic shorthair! She is NOT a fan of traditional cat caves and absolutely LOVES cardboard. Compared to traditional cat caves, the 'Holiday Log Cabin' has two entrances/exits which makes perfect for a quick escape and for spying on her humans. I am surprised with the durability of the design and as for someone who isn't crafty, the cabin took approximately 10 minutes to set up! 10/10 would recommend for adding festive scenery to your home that you and your cat will enjoy!

I wasn’t sure if our cats would like this when I ordered it, but I figured they usually like cardboard boxes and small spaces, so it was worth a try. This has been a huge hit for both cats! Sometimes they fight over it, but they both have enjoyed it a lot and spend time in there and even use the scratcher. They’ve even been hiding their favorite toys inside.

She did stick her head out one window & was stuck briefly, but that did not seem to bother her. She always has a toy or 2 with her in the house. She also likes to hide in there & attack me when I go by. She is very happy with her house.

So festive and as cute as can be! Easy to assemble and it's a nice size for larger cats (12 libs+ pic). No one would stay in it until I put a self-warming pad over

So festive and as cute as can be! Easy to assemble and it's a nice size for larger cats (12 libs+ pic). No one would stay in it until I put a self-warming pad over the scratch pad just because it's cold on the floor. Cujo slept in it for hours today. All 8 of mine seem to want their own!
