Description

Frisco Multi-Cat Clumping Cat Litter with Baking Soda is made of all-natural clay that forms hard clumps for easy scooping, and combats odors with added baking soda and never any scents or fragrances. The granules create a powerful bond to lock in moisture and minimize liquids from getting to the bottom of the litter box. This litter is especially formulated to neutralize odors quickly with the added freshness boost of baking soda, and is low-tracking so there’s less mess and no scattered litter trails. It’s hypo-allergenic to common allergens such as dust, plant proteins and fragrances. Frisco Scoopable is a heavy-duty litter that’s ideal for sifting and mechanical boxes, and is highly effective in multiple cat households.

Key Benefits
  • Specifically formulated to neutralize odors immediately with no fragrances, including ammonia odors, and is low-tracking to minimize messes in multiple-cat households.
  • Hypo-allergenic: contains no plant protein, dyes, perfumes or added fragrances.
  • Excellent odor control with the natural freshness of baking soda.
  • All-natural clay forms hard clumps for easy scooping and removal, ideal for sifting and mechanical boxes as well as multi-cat households.
  • A proprietary de-dusting system is used to reduce dust, but since this is a natural product, some dust may still be present.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

My Back Thanks You from the Second Floor

    By on

My two cats are fussy about a clean litter box. Not just scooped, but fresh litter, so I need to change it out more often than I did with a previous cat. So, I buy the bigger box of litter. It was hard enough to get it from the shelf to the cart, then the cart to the car, and then heft it long enough to pour off the weight into my litter bucket. But now I've moved to a second floor apartment! That's when I decided to see if UPS would bring it to my door if I bought litter from Chewy. They did! Yay! I just dragged it inside and hefted the heavy duty plastic bag onto my media center, put the bucket below it, and sliced it open. The litter isn't very different from what I was using before, and the astrophysikitties--Tyson and Sagan--don't seem to notice a difference. I watched it as it poured into the bucket, and it was very low on dust, and the clumps are sturdy and easily scooped out. My only problem is going to be shipping costs if I don't need enough cat stuff to reach the free shipping threshold. … more

    MSBAMAGIRL

I do not recommend this product. I purchased this because there were very little litter choices available due to the Covid19 virus scare, I ordered it out of desperation. I changed all my cat boxes due to multiple cats on Saturday, April 4, 2020. You can’t tell that I put new litter and cleaned boxes. It is also very dusty and the litter is tracked all over the place. Due to the virus the delivery was longer than previous times but Chewy customer service was awesome about it. I recommend Chewy but not this product.

    not a moment too soon

    By on

My spoiled babies won't use anything but unscented litter, and Frisco works for us at a reasonable cost, with free shipping. What I really want to thank Chewy for is how easy it is to adjust autoship--we were down to dregs of remaining litter and last bag of food, so I clicked to "send autoship now," and, though health crisis delayed normal 1-2 day delivery, supplies arrived just in time to keep us from having to use garden mulch or who knows what in the litter box. We are seniors who have self-isolated, so please take very good care of your supply chain workers, and thank them for us. Be safe!

    Needs better packaging

    By on

I ordered this because Chewy was out of my usual Tidy Cats. The litter is okay, the cats use it. The packaging is a terrible idea. My cats started scratching at the plastic from day one. I had to move the litter to a closet (inconvenient location) to keep them from shredding the thin plastic packaging and having the litter spill out. Even the old clay litters have very thick packaging paper in a double layer! What were these people thinking?

    Not Worth The Money

    By on

I bought this because they were out of the other in the purple bag. Big mistake! I had some of the other litter left over and added this to it and it was okay, since then I have only used this litter and it is a nightmare. It tracks everywhere throughout the house, and even clings to my cats butt fur after she pees sometimes. Also the dust is horrible.

    Cannot recommend this

    By on

I cannot recommend this product. I scoop twice, sometimes three times, daily and yet it still had a very odd, unpleasant stank. The litter itself does not omit an odd odor, but once Mr. Kitty uses it, it smells like broccoli farts. It does have a lot of fling, but I think that is because it has a finer grain than most other litters. I don't think it would be as bad if there is a cover or lid over the box. It clumps okay, but the quick foulness is why I can't recommend this product.

Performs well in automatic litter box.

    By on

I bought this because the unscented odor defense litter than I normally purchase was out of stock. I used it to fill a litter robot (automatic litter box). It performs well and the cats have no complaints. I haven't notice any difference between the litters and since the cats are fine with it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one again.

    Its better than nothing

    By on

I normally get tidy cats but it was sold out so I got this. Clumping is so so. Don't shake too hard or it will fall apart. No odor control. If you need something in a pinch, this is fine. But I would not want it as my only litter. Its very dusty but its softer than tidy cats so sensitive paws may prefer it.

    Worst litter ever

    By on

I did not have very good luck with this litter. When the cats peed on it the litter turned into sludge in the box and was near impossible to scoop out. I would compare it to wet cement. One of my older, heavier cats had a mass I had to scrape and wash off his front paw-it was like he had a plaster cast on it.

    Not my favorite...

    By on

I usually buy the regular litter of this brand and it’s great. I saw this and decided to try it since it has added baking soda for odor control. I have 2 cats and a small house, so litter tracking and a bit of an odor is unavoidable. This litter tracks EVERYWHERE compared to the regular stuff. The dust is uncontrollable. I have asthma and allergies and the dust from this stuff makes me a sneezy snotty mess whenever I scoop the boxes. As for odor control? Seems about the same. So I’m thinking it’s 100% not worth it to buy this stuff when the other stuff does a better job.
