Hello I need something exactly like this for a 100 lb pup the foam ones I worry about the downward motion and losing their balance especially as they age I really need something for my big girl the steps don't work nor do the ramps

They have really strong wood wide stairs on Etsy. I had some made from Ariawooddesigns on Etsy. There is also another company on Etsy that has carpet ones. Hamptonbaypetsteps. I only purchased from the Aria company and I’m so thankful. The shipping took awhile but was worth it. I have an elderly big dog that needed wide strong steps.

Can you order carpet mat replacements?

Will it slide on a wood floor? Would I get carpet to put under it?

There is a solid surface at the bottom, it is not open and the stairs are hollow.

Seems low quality

I think this will work ok for what we bought it for (3 legged dog getting on and off the couch) but it looks pretty cheap. The carpet material is frayed at the side,

I think this will work ok for what we bought it for (3 legged dog getting on and off the couch) but it looks pretty cheap. The carpet material is frayed at the side, the screws holding the Velcro to the base are crooked and make the carpet lay unevenly, I had to redo them myself, and a stocked instructing not to use as step stool is so hard to get off. I bought a different brand for our bed that is talked that seemed much higher quality so that contrast didn’t help.

AMAZINGGGGG

Alert- you need this. I’ve got this set up next to the couch so the dogs don’t have to do a huge leap. No more crazy parkour jumps off the couch and no more senior slips by not fully making the jump. ALSO - This was a godsend for my road trip. I’ve got two senior pups who are so excited for car rides and are eager just to jump right in the car which led to slips and falls. I put the step right at the back door and they were able to hop right in and out of the car. I have a small SUV and kept it in the trunk on top of luggage. Whenever we stopped, I just popped in the trunk and then put it on the ground next to the back passenger door. There was no extra parts like some of the other mobility, ramps and steps that I’ve tried. This was just literally in and out of the car. It also is hollow underneath, so it’s lightweight and easy to use. Also aside bonus, as I brought this into the hotel rooms, so the dogs had easy access to the beds. I don’t have a picture of it in use for car , I can’t wrangle the phone with these two guys

Must more sturdy than steps.

Don't assume your experience will be what mine was. The flat lift is such a better idea than the steps. I have both. Still my stubborn pitty mix will not use it

Don't assume your experience will be what mine was. The flat lift is such a better idea than the steps. I have both. Still my stubborn pitty mix will not use it. She would not use the stairs, but I understood that, they moved a bit when you go to the second step. I can stand on this platform and it does not move. , but she will not even come up for treats. There is no reason except she does not want to ride in the car. If you dog wants to get in the car, but has a problem doing so, then this will work. Mine prefers to sit in the house and bark at any living thing that walks down the sidewalk.

My 85lb 11 year old was having trouble getting in and out of the car and also in and out of bed. While I haven't gotten him to use it inside yet, this is the first thing that has worked for my car. It took a little bit of training but this has been a lifesaver! I just drove home for the holidays and he got in and out of the car like a champ at the rest stops! If you have a dog that is resistant to the stairs, this step might be the trick!

Great for car

After my dog has back pain, he can’t jump into the car. I was looking & tried many type of steps, but they didn’t work and it’s very hard to find the right size for the suv doors. This steps is the perfect for both front & back door of suv. The step is going under the car door so I don’t worry the angle & width, but it’s high enough that my dog into the car. This step also very light to carrying it. I highly recommend this step if your dog has problems into suv car.

If you have an SUV and a dog prone to "get in the back seat" drama, you have probably tried all manner of steps and ramps. This one fits perfectly in the oddly-shaped space available between back door and wheel well. It features a gentle incline and is carpeted to avoid slips and skids. We are in process of training our dog to use it as a way up on many different things (sofa, chairs, bed) along with the car, to generalize his behavior as well as reducing the aforementioned drama and default big dog booty lifts. So far it's going better than the other things we've tried. It's a bit bulky, and I wish it had a handle, but being all one piece it doesn't rattle (inciting more drama) when we're driving.

My 70 lb. pittie is at least 12 or 13, my husband rescued him in June 2014 after our American Bulldog passed away. He's starting to slow down and having a problem getting up on "his" chair and our beds that are pretty high. This assists him as he wants to be up and would keep trying and I feared he would hurt himself. . . a great easy to use product right out of the box.

I couldn't get my dog to use a ramp, but he's very comfortable with this step. It fits perfectly by the wheel well so he can easily get into the backseat of my Subaru. I also don't have to worry any more about folding up a ramp or getting my fingers pinched in ramps and folding steps. Highly recommend!
