Hi Chewy Do you not carry floor hammock covers for trucks? I am only seeing seat covers.
Will the backing harm leather seats?

The materials used for this seat cover will not harm leather or fabric seats.
Would this be something that would rip easily? I have a Great Dane with big paws and feet and I'm concerned that it might tear easily just from him getting in and out?

Seems durable.

The anti skid coating on it should keep it in place. The optional seat base straps are not long enough for my Tundra and the straps that go over the headrests are barely long enough or I would have had to used bungees to keep it up. It is just shy of being the full width of my rear seat but that shouldn't matter in the long run. The dimensions listed for the product were accurate so this is what I expected. Overall it should work well and seems well made.

Replacing/Repairing Less than One Year Later

This is exactly as advertised. The different types of straps are a great idea to keep it in place. Totally protected my seat. Easy to clean. But less than a year later the straps holding it up behind the headset have both snapped, meaning it slumps down and leaves the back of the seat unprotected. Now I have to pay to repair or replace. For that reason would not recommend buying.

Second one for our new Silverado

This is our second cover works well. and is very reasonably priced. We have used the first one for in my wife's Edge for 3 years and are very pleased with it and our Corgi seems to enjoy and be comfortable in it for several day journeys and short trips as well.

Great seat cover

The fit is excellent on our Honda CRV rear seat and it is easy to take on and off . It stays in place really well too. Very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to dog owners who want to keep their car seat well protected.

Works great

We have a very hairy big dog that we travel cross country with. We have used this seat cover in our truck & car. Worked great in both and saved our seats. Cleans easy and our dog likes laying on it. We just bought our 2nd one to leave in both.

Super impressed!

Honestly, I didn’t have high expectations when I ordered this - not because of the product itself, but because I’ve gone through at least 5 different types of seat protectors and none have been a match for Ollie. He’s anxious in the car and will pace back and forth from one window to the other (he has a zip line seatbelt and windows are kept only halfway down - safety first!) and so far no seat cover has stayed in place very well. I happy to say that this one is awesome! We’ve used it several times now and it’s stayed almost perfectly in place! My black seats are safe from his white hair and, because I bought the cream color, even the protector looks nice and doesn’t show all the hair he sheds. I’m genuinely thrilled with this product and definitely recommend it!

Great seat cover

Your seat cover fits beautifully in our Subaru Forester and stays in place. It makes entering and leaving vehicle easy for our 2 black labs. They do however slide easily if there is a quick stop.

Love it!

This seat cover is beyond what I expected - good quality, sturdy, easy to install, fit my new CRV perfectly, dogs gave their paws-up approval. The shade of gray (darker = what we need) perfect. This affordable addition to the car will preserve the back seat AND car rides for the pooches. Thanks to Chewy for speedy delivery.

Perfect for my corgi

My dog loves car rides, but he goes crazy and runs all around. It is really terrifying while driving because he wasn’t secure. However, this solved all my problems. He sheds a lot, and the cover helps confine all of his hair and dirt from his paws into one place. Also the tether clipping into the seat buckle is perfect. Has enough give to let him move a bit, but still secure and can’t go crazy. Every dog owner should get this product to keep their pups safe and secure in their car, as well as keep your car as clean as it can be!
