Our cat used to regularly barf after inhaling his food way too fast, then immediately pounce on his sister’s bowl. This plate slowed him way down, and now he actually enjoys his meals and keeps them down. It's easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The suction cups prevent it from sliding around on the floor.

I wish it stuck better to more surfaces, but it works great on my floor

I was hoping it would stick to a vertical surface like my refrigerator or kitchen cabinet, but those are apparently too textured for the suction cups to grab onto

I was hoping it would stick to a vertical surface like my refrigerator or kitchen cabinet, but those are apparently too textured for the suction cups to grab onto. However, it does stick well to the kitchen floor (VCT), so I was able to use it. I prepared a syringe for injection (Adequan), smeared some canned dog food on the lick mat, put it on the floor, and let my dog get to it. He was so distracted by the lick mat (which didn't move at all) that he didn't even notice that I was giving him a shot. I wonder if it'll work for ear cleaning.

This lick mat performs as expected and kept our dog occupied for a while. The best part about this mat was that the raised design isn't too raised/deep or complicated, making it very easy to clean. It has a few suction cups on the back so it stays secure while the dog is using it and isn't a pain to peel off the counter when filling it up. Would recommend.

Stays in place!

I love that this lick mat has suction cups and stays in place while my puppy goes it town on it. I originally got it for my cats but they aren’t licking as hard

I love that this lick mat has suction cups and stays in place while my puppy goes it town on it. I originally got it for my cats but they aren’t licking as hard as my 50lb puppy. So I’ll be using this one for her from now on. It has also withstood the dishwasher which makes for easier cleaning

I purchased this for my cats. We have used other lick mats before, but this design was a bit more desirable because food doesn’t get as stuck and hard to lick out

Ease of Use

My intention was to buy a second, somewhat different, lick mat for my dog, but this one isn't as challenging as the one I already have b/c the spaces of the "dividers"

My intention was to buy a second, somewhat different, lick mat for my dog, but this one isn't as challenging as the one I already have b/c the spaces of the "dividers" are too far apart. Also, I didn't realize this had suction cups when I bought it (my fault for not being more vigilant) so that doesn't work for my purposes b/c I have nowhere to adhere it. That said, this is a well-made mat and easy to wash. Also a good price. Just not what I was looking for.

Depends on Pet's Personality

I bought 2 lick mats for my 2 dogs and they are great for keeping the dogs happy. I have enjoyed creating low cal and delicious spreads that keep the hounds busy

I bought 2 lick mats for my 2 dogs and they are great for keeping the dogs happy. I have enjoyed creating low cal and delicious spreads that keep the hounds busy for a good long time. The Corgi uses the mat as she should, but the Pyr decided that the mat itself was just as much fun as the food. On the first day, Mookie had run off with the mat, thinking it was a delightful chew toy. This resulted in a small tear before I caught him. Unfortunately, that tear has expanded with further use and I fear the mat will come to an untimely end.

Makes my 11 week old pup slow down!
