Frisco Slanted Bowl
My kitty had been vomiting up her morning meal and then being hesitant to eat more during the day. I read that raising a larger bowl at an angle could help with this problem. I was hesitant at first, but decided to try and solve the problem. Since getting the bowl, she has almost completely stopped vomiting up her morning meal. The only problem I have is that I cannot heat her food, that was in the refrigerator, in the microwave because it is stainless steel. I use a glass bowl to heat the food, and then transfer it to the bowl. Anything for my furbaby. I would recommend this bowl highly.
Almost perfect
I bought this dish for my 17 yr old mini dauchshund. He has nerve damage in his bank legs & has trouble balancing long enough to eat. I thought an elevated & angled dish might help him not fall into the dish. The elevation & angle helped a lot. The only draw back is it needs to be weighted or have a more substantial rubber base. The problem is that it slides across the floor. It would be perfect if it stayed in place.
Great set but ...
I like the set of slanted stainless steel bowls I received. They work well for the cats. The bowls don't slide, and so far, the cats haven't dumped them over. However, I'd really appreciate it if the stainless steel bowl could be purchased separately from the base. It would make storage easier, just leave the base out and change out the bowls. As it is, I have extra, unneeded bases.
Nice bowl for flatface dogs
I got this for my dog to use as water bowl. I was afraid it may spill but it's not. It helps with my french bulldog to drink without straining her neck. I am very happy with this purchase
Gamechanger
You wouldn't think something as simple as a bowl would make a difference, but this slanted bowl solved a huge problem for us! Sunny is a senior with mobility and balance challenges, arthritis, as well as the onset of dementia. She was struggling with every meal-it was taking her so long to get her food out of her bowl as she would kind of lick it rather than grab it, the food would get stuck in the "corners" of the flat bottom bowl (this one is rounded), and she would end up walking away from her meal. This bowl works like a charm! She gets the food out quicker and easier without struggling. She's medium sized, 50#, and I wasn't sure if it would be big enough, but the larger size is perfect. This product has been a huge improvement for us, she's actually eating better now.
Help for Senior dogs
My dog is older and having more trouble reaching down to the floor to eat. I was holding her feeding dish up off the floor for her to eat. These feeding bowls made a big difference. She can eat much more comfortably now.
They slide all over the place
They slide all over the floor and the design could be a bit better for dogs with a medical collar on. They need to be taller.
Bowl is very thin and not marked stainless steel
I asked about the quality of the stainless steel and the rep said she could find bo information, which we both agreed was odd since Frisco is the Chewy brand. I wanted a slanted bowl, but don’t trust this metal. It is super thin and unmarked, so it could contain allergens like nickel. Just don’t trust the quality.

For a while, our senior dog hadn't been able to eat on her own. She'd need manual assistance or her bowl propped & tilted against a pillow. I may be naive, but I never knew a product like this existed. The 11 yr old Yorkie received it for her birthday, and now it's smooth sailing! This is a fantastic product, and I appreciate that the bowl portion can be removed and washed alone. She has medication that leaves her bowls sticky. This way I able to decorate the outside with a lovely name label I'd had made and not worry about it washing away either. My only regret is I didn't come across this item sooner.
Best bowl for flat faced dogs
I used to have to hold my dogs bowl for her and fluff it up with a fork. Now she eats entirely on her own!!!!
