Finally found the perfect cat bowls
Initially I used ceramic bowls, but my cats kept breaking them. Then I switched to stainless steel bowls with non-skid bottom, but those are not dishwasher-safe. These are stainless steel and dishwasher safe, yet still non-skid because the bottom frame holds the bowl in place (and since the bottom frame don’t come into contact with cat food, you don’t need to wash it all the time). Very smart design. Also, the bowls are shallow so cats feel comfortable using them (no whisker stress). I buy 3 sets of bowl with frame, so each of my 3 cats has its own frame to use, and then a dozen more bowls to replace (you can buy bowls only separately) since I don’t run the dishwasher multiple times a day.
Frisco elevated feeding bowls
These bowls are exactly what I was looking for. The dishes are of good quality stainless steel, the stands are good quality cast iron and they are stylish as well. The only negative thing I could find is I wanted to buy some more bowls so I wouldn't have to wash them every night but can't find the bowls w/o the stand.
Jusr right
These are perfect for my 15-year-old cat. And I love that they wipe clean, and can also go in the dishwasher. They are quite small, but that's what I needed since my guy doesn't eat much anymore
Great saucers
These are just awesome. The bases are nice and heavy to prevent movement. The dishes are easy to toss in the dishwasher. They're perfectly deep enough for food but shallow enough at the same time so cats don't have to stick their face in far or get whisker fatigue. I just wish they'd sell extra of the bowls!
Very durable
I have two cats so I purchased two of these, I don’t know if its the food I bought or just these bowls but they now lick their dishes clean every time they eat. They’re a little heavy but it’s good for me as one of my cats’ eat on the counter and an old food bowl was broken because of the kitten. These are much harder to push around and not that breakable
Cat Accepted - Mom Approved
After several attempts to find a small, elevated single bowl for my cat's water, this one is PERFECT. The stand is solid and sturdy and my cat LOVES it. I've ordered two more so that all of her bowls will be elevated. I will say that she would not drink out of the stainless steel bowl that came with it. But her Van Ness Ecoware cat dish fits in the stand quite well. WIN-WIN.
Almost perfect
Our cats definitely like this bowl, and it provides enough of a rise to make it a more natural posture while eating. I do think they would be happier with just a little bit more height. The only real problem we've had with these dishes, is that one of our little monsters likes to "bury" his food, so he paws at this and pulls the little bowl off of the stand. We meal-feed wet food, so it's no big deal, as the bowls are usually empty by then.

very stable / love the way it looks / clean modern lines that blends with everything -- frame a bit too small to be really versatile to hold for a large variety of different dishes or plates or bowls - the stainless steel one it comes with is too small with but seems high quality stainless steel - I use it for other things - ill keep this because its so well made and designed - its really beautiful -

My cat loves eating out of the raised dish. I think it makes for better digestion since she isn't bending over to eat.
Great for less than 1/3 cup
I was looking for an elevated food dish that would hold at least 1/2 cup dog food. This would be great with wet cat food in small amounts. Would not use for kibble (dish has sloping sides) as animal's nose goes in kibble moves up and out over the sides.
