Do the Petmate Kitty Kap Can Covers need to be on a specific rack in the dishwasher? Do they have to be on the top rack or is the bottom rack safe as well?

Petmate does not recommend placing the cap in the dishwasher. Wash the cap with warm water and soap with a sure rinse in the sink.

It works well now

At first I couldn't it it to fit any of the dog's or cats' wet food cans, but finally after trying again (a week later), it fit on the dog can and has worked well

Doesn't fit.

It is too small to fit a basic 5.5 Oz catfood can. I had to throw them out. And only then remembered I'd bought similar before and had to throw them out too. I don't

Good luck getting the sticker off

It's a perfectly good can cover but they put a sticker on the outside AND inside. It's near impossible to get off, thus making the product unsafe for food.

Don't waste your money

I had an old Petmate Kitty Kap Can Cover that was wonderful. After many years, mine developed a crack, so I bought a new one. How very disappointing! The material

I had an old Petmate Kitty Kap Can Cover that was wonderful. After many years, mine developed a crack, so I bought a new one. How very disappointing! The material changed from a relatively flexible plastic that fit the can well to a very hard plastic, which made it a challenge to get it on/off the can. I am SO tired of hurting my fingers trying to use it that I went back to my old, cracked lid. Something this simple should not be so hard.

Not very good!

The color I received is nice (you don't get to choose) but the quality is terrible. It is made from a very hard plastic. The lid is so stiff that it does not fit

The color I received is nice (you don't get to choose) but the quality is terrible. It is made from a very hard plastic. The lid is so stiff that it does not fit or stay on a 3 oz cat food can. I only bought it because I needed a few extra dollars for free shipping. I use it now as a spoon rest for when I feed my cat.

Awful

These didn't fit a SINGLE cat food can we owned. My cats eat Fancy Feast, Tiki Cat, Weruva, Solid Gold, Nulo, and other brands, and I literally couldn't find ONE
