    Love this litter

    By JK88 on Sep 22, 2021

Been using this for a while now, I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews but figured I’d try it-I have an asthmatic cat (who is a black, long haired kitty) so I needed something with low dust and unscented that wouldn’t just stick to his fur and end up everywhere. I’ve tried several different non clay litters-corn, grass, wheat, wood, walnut, paper, and this is by far the best I’ve found. It clumps well and you just need a scoop with bigger holes, which is worth the $6. A natural, dust free litter is a unicorn but this comes close-no dust clouds when I pour it in the box or scoop, and doesn’t turn the black cat white. Odor control is so so, but honestly I have yet to find any litter Been using this for a while now, I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews but figured I’d try it-I have an asthmatic cat (who is a black, long haired kitty) so I needed something with low dust and unscented that wouldn’t just stick to his fur and end up everywhere. A natural, dust free litter is a unicorn but this comes close-no dust clouds when I pour it in the box or scoop, and doesn’t turn the black cat white. Odor control is so so, but honestly I have yet to find any litter that truly does this. I will say the litter itself doesn’t start smelling like ammonia after a few days like a lot of natural litters do, and they don’t add a perfume-y scent, which I hate and cats don’t like much either, even if they use it anyway. In terms of tracking, it’s pretty minimal. Again, no tracking whatsoever is a unicorn but I definitely don’t find a ton of these pellets everywhere. And pound for pound it lasts a decent amount of time but I did take one star off for price. It’s not inexpensive with 4 cats and 5 boxes but I feel it’s worth it, and the cats like it too. … more

    Low tracking, low dust

By moop on Sep 9, 2021

So far this is my new favorite litter. Odor control is good as long as you scoop daily, and this is barely tracked out of the box by my two cats. The best part is that it barely has any dust. It's not the tightest clumps but it works well enough. I definitely will be purchasing again.

    minimal odor control

By Ella on Aug 4, 2021

Works fantastic as a tofu litter with great clumping. Tofu litter has no breakdown of sand, like a pine/wood pellet litter. However, after only a few days, the urine smell is noticeable. All the natural litters I've used and all have odor control. So I guess I keep looking for another tofu or maybe try scented but not a scented fan. Happy the narrow pellets don't crunch into my feet. She's happy there's no grit between her tufts, causing her to chew her pads. Looks like tofu litter will be the go to when we find the right one.

    Hated it. Then loved it

By Karlita on Aug 25, 2021

I hated it at first but now I dont. To be honest this litter grew on me. Helps with smell, no dust and cats don't seem to mind it. Only wish that it was a bit cheaper cus I cant seem to be able to split a bag up into multiple litter boxes.

    Very Satisfied

By zamja on Jul 1, 2021

After having tried clay, wheat and crystal types of cat litter, I think I've finally found the one! Poured the entire bag in and there was no dust (contrary to other reviews), only a slight odor which seemed to dissipate immediately, and minimal tracking (less than any other product). I let the pee dry and it does clump quite a bit, so using more product than I thought I would, but overall I'm very happy with this item and plan on using it in the future.

    Great kitty litter!

By Litter on Sep 10, 2021

I was using a subscription service called Tofu Kitty. They went out of business and I found this litter to be a great substitute. It clumps nicely and cleans up easily.

I liked it but my cats liked it in a different way

By Lulu on Aug 5, 2021

I always wanted to try tofu litter for my cats. And I finally did. The litter itself is good but one of my cats would play, bite, and eat the tofu pellets. Unfortunately I have to switch the litter again.

    Kittens eat it

By JSJS on Aug 2, 2021

My two 4 month old kittens, who haven't had any trouble with regular litter or paper litter, can't stop eating this tofu litter. Too bad, I was hoping it would be a good alternative.

    Better than clay litter

By Toni on May 26, 2021

This litter controls odors as long as your cat covers up its feces. I have a male cat who poops and does not cover it and the smell permeates the house! I have 3 cats that use 2 litter boxes side-by-side and there is a lot of tracking so I am always vacuuming. They track pieces of this litter throughout the house but mostly in front of the litter boxes. Still, this litter is better than the awful dusty claw litter so I will keep on using it.

    Pleasantly Surprised

    By band14 on May 12, 2021

I purchased this because we couldn’t use pine litter. I wanted a litter that would still take care of the smell and be eco friendly. I was pleasantly surprised! My SO has asthma and this doesn’t bother his lungs at all. :) It is more expensive than most litters out there, but it lasts quite a while. I have 2 cats and both transitioned well. 4 stars due to $, but again, decent considering how long it lasts. I’m just not used to spending this much on “poop pellets”. Highly recommend for those with sensitivities, want to be my earth friendly, or are looking for alternative litters.
