Expensive, but okay
By Jakoe on Feb 26, 2021
One bag only filled a large litterbox (not overfilled), so quite expensive. Probably lasted a bit longer than sand, but cats didn't use it as much. It tracks all over like any other litter. It would be nice if they reduced the size of the pellets so it was faster to scoop. It clumped well. Controlled odor fine. If price were comparable to clumping sand (the cheapest) I'd buy it again.

Great but expensive

I purchased this litter specifically for the two litter boxes we have inside. Typically we use grass litters that clump exceptionally well and last long but track every where. There was zero dust when I poured this tofu litter. No fragrance or noticeable aroma either. It clumps urine very well. A special, open-holed scoop works best for this litter. It's "unscented" so it doesn't mask odors with perfume. That said, I don't leave waste sitting in a litter box for any length of time. The white color of this litter is perfect for detecting blood in urine (bonus!). The lack of tracking is exceptional!!! A few scattered pieces just outside the box but not much more. I purchased on sale and that was fine for our home but using this in every box at our sanctuary (22 boxes total) would be impossible. It's just too expensive and that is unfortunate. I bought two bags for ONE box in order to maintain a 3-4 inch level of litter as recommended. All the cats want to use the box with this new litter in it so it's certainly attractive to various cats. If it goes on sale, I'm all in! … more

This is prolly the worst tofu cat litter I have ever bought
By Prisc on Jan 14, 2021
I know there are not many companies that produce tofu cat litter in the US market so I am normally quite generous when it comes to review and I do hope that there will be more companies jumping to develop this type of cat litter. Now, why Frisco is one star. This tofu litter claims itself as fragrance free, but when you unbox the cat litter, you can sense a strong and irritating chemical/industrial smell from the litter. I bought 4 bags and it's the same for all of them. Cats have more sensitive smell than we do. I can't imagine how irritating the smell will be for them. Not to mention it did a horrible job in terms of odor control. Will not recommend it to other people and definitely will not I know there are not many companies that produce tofu cat litter in the US market so I am normally quite generous when it comes to review and I do hope that there will be more companies jumping to develop this type of cat litter. best cat litter yet
By kittyl on Jan 15, 2021 Top 250 Contributor
surprised to see such negative reviews on this product. i was getting desperate for a cleaner cat litter and this is better than expected, on all counts: clumps very hard, compact clumps; less dusty than any other i've tried; doesn't track/scatter as much; smells neutral (slightly cereal-like); and my senior cat with kidney disease has no problem using it. my only complaint is the price... but as long as the quality remains as it is currently, i will keep buying it. on subscribe

No one will try it out!
By Catwagn on Jan 12, 2021 Top 50 Contributor
Didn’t want any problems with kitties not using the boxes so I set up a separate box to see what they thought. Been a week now and so far no one has felt adventurous enough to step in! Looks like really nice litter I’m hoping they will like it!

Love this litter so far. It handles smells good and there is no tracking or dust. It does take a litter longer to sift/scoop because of the shape but worth it.

scent of the car feces can’t masked by this litter
By Vivian112 on Dec 7, 2020
The litter is useless, it didn’t work. The scent of the cat feces is not masked by the litter and make my house smell terrible. I won’t purchase this litter again.

Low dust and tracking
By KingKai on Jan 9, 2021
Great litter! Almost no dust and doesn’t end up all over the house. Awesome clumping too!
