Big enough for my Boy
By Elli on Feb 18, 2021
I have a 6 month old pyrenees weighing in at a whoping 80ish lbs already. My big boy was too tall for his 36x22" crate by the end of 4 months and was uncomfortable ducking in and out of it. This replacement crate arrived last week. -Pros- Easy to assemble, one person can handle it Three latch door at varying heights, we only use the top 2 for now 2 doors makes it easier to place in home, its a large crate and takes upmore space than you think! Easy to clean with removable tray, or just walk on in yourself to sweep -Cons- HEAVY! While I was able to assemble it myself, I needed help carrying the delivered package inside. After assembling i could move it on my own around the house. (I'm small, 5'3", 100lbs) Flimsy, if you push on the walls with some force they give and slide under each other, but do not collapse. Not sure how long this crate would last if your large pup is an escape artist, they may be able to damage the structural integrity if they're upset enough... Altogether, great for my boy. He is comfortable in his new room, and has space to finish growing! … more

Bent and welds broken
By 54crate on Feb 14, 2021
I was a bit disappointed with this crate because upon arrival, many of the ends were bent- making assembly a major chore. The time spent fixing the problematic bends took longer than putting the crate together. In addition, there were welds on the bottom that had broken apart. Luckily they were on the bottom of the crate which sits under the tray so hopefully they won't cause any problems with usage. However, since our order was also delayed in shipping, by the time it arrived, I had no choice but to use it as our dogs couldn't reasonably fit in their previous crates long enough to wait for a replacement to be sent. I guess my biggest frustration is that the quality was not as expected.

Great crate for the price
By Shannon on Jan 30, 2021
These crates are huge!!! A little hard to put together and I was missing one rod but was able to improvise by using zip ties. I don't think these are sturdy enough for a dog not used to crating but my dogs are not destructive and I just needed a temporary time out area when I need time away. I'm hoping to find a wood topper for both and maybe crate covers to make them look more like furniture but for now they get the job done and I'm very happy. We may have to downsize to an apartment soon and these crates will be perfect in giving each dog space and us not to be on top of each other. I would recommend!!!

It’s huge. St. Bernard big
By Terri on Feb 22, 2021
This thing is huge for the price. Instructions suck on putting it together. We will see how it handles my silver lab puppy who is a wrecking ball and comes in at 60 pounds at 6 months old. This is a 225 pound young man who crawled in the crate to show her it was ok. Lol no one was forced to crawl in this crate. No human or animal was harmed while taking this picture.

Hated this crate
By Sammie on Jan 25, 2021
First this crate was just way too big for my dog. Obviously that isn’t the crate’s fault but at the time I ordered this I was having issues with my german shepherd puppy having bad anxiety being left during the day in his much smaller crate. So I thought if he had more room to walk around in it would make him feel better. It worked for a while until he literally started trying to bust out of it and ended up actually bending the metal and busted the whole front door so bad that it wouldn’t even close properly anymore. It was also so big that he could jump all the way up on his hind legs and scratch on the door and top causing the metal to bend. It really is not sturdy at all in my opinion and First this crate was just way too big for my dog. It really is not sturdy at all in my opinion and is a HUGE pain to put together. You need 2 people and a huge amount of space to put it together because it’s so big. I ended up throwing this out to the curb because of how bad he destroyed it and purchased the XL which is working much better for us and is also much cheaper. I would not recommend this for anyone unless you have a Great Dane size dog who is calm and won’t try to bust the crate because I really don’t see how this would hold up for a larger dog if my 70lb puppy destroyed it. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because it’s partially my fault for buying a crate this big but I still think the quality is poor especially for the price … more

Pretty easy to put together, seems sturdy
By CTMC on Jan 6, 2021
The crate itself seems sturdy, and I was able to put it together by myself. I had to slide a plastic bin up against the first side to hold it up, but I didn't need a 2nd person. I got this crate for our German Shepherd who had hip replacement surgery yesterday and needs to stay pretty stationary while he recovers. While we wait for him to come home, our 130 lb Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd is trying it out (pic attached). He has plenty of room in the crate, and he is taller and longer than our GSD, so I know it will be a great recovery crate for him. I also got the pad for the bottom of the crate. The only thing I didn't like is that 2 or 3 of the panels were slightly bent (still able to The crate itself seems sturdy, and I was able to put it together by myself. It seems like they were damaged in shipping, but my box wasn't damaged at all. However, all of the zip ties were cut, so it seems like maybe someone returned a crate that was damaged in shipping and then badly damaged panels were replaced, but ones with little or no damage were left. I don't know for sure if this is the case, but that's what it seems like. I need the crate for my dog who is coming home from the hospital tomorrow, so I made it work, but I would have considered returning it and asking for a replacement if I had more time. … more

HUGE. Great and HUGE.
By SND1 on Feb 17, 2021
This crate is HUGE. Seriously, you read the measurements, you review the pictures, but nothing prepares you for how large this crate actually is! It's great! And perfect for my growing Great Dane. I Love that there are two doors so there is access no matter where you place the crate. I only wish it came with a divider....

Perfect Crate
By Parker on Feb 1, 2021
My husband and I bought two of these for our Husky and Lab. Our fur babies were destroying our house when we were gone. We wanted to find something roomy for them to stay in while we were away. This crate was the perfect solution. It is roomy and allows my dogs to stand up and stretch. These crates are really big so if you don't have much space, this might not be for you.

some parts majorly bent
By rikki on Jan 9, 2021
hello! i recently received this dog crate and put it together last night. it was challenging, not because of the instructions, which made perfect sense, but because many of the pieces were bent. the bottom metal piece that holds the sides in, that was pretty easy to bend back to where they needed to be... the side loops that hold the sides together, we really difficult to put back into place. this crate does not have dividers, and... there is no way to switch which direction the doors open. overall, i feel it's a pretty sturdy (xxl) crate. we'll see when my puppy arrives next weekend. :)
