Gently shake pouch before opening. Feed an average size adult cat one pouch per day. Friskies Lil' Gravies are intended for supplemental feeding only. This complement may be fed daily along with a complete and balanced cat food diet.
I was having trouble getting my rescue cat to eat wet food, but once I started adding this gravy to her Tasteful canned, she gobbles it down! Now I can feel she is getting enough fluids. We tried the mousse and the thicker envelope food, but she sniffed and turned away. These gravies were the solution!
Both my indoor cat and the semi-feral cats I take care of LOVE this stuff! I feel good about giving it to them because it adds moisture to their diets. I see a lot of negative reviews. I don’t necessarily trust all of them - I think some people write negative reviews hoping to get a refund from Chewy. All I know is the four cats here lick the bowl clean every time I feed them lil’ gravies!
I have 2 cats. One loves lil' gravies and the other does not. The cat that doesn't like it is VERY selective as to what she will eat. The other cat will eat just about anything as long as it is very moist/juicy. He will not eat regular pate. I started adding lil' gravies to the pate and he will eat it robustly. Lil' Gravies has given me the opportunity to feed various flavored pate's, chunks, shreds, etc. and keep feeding time exciting.
This is a great idea. They all adore gravy, so why not give them the delicious gravy? Except none of them- not a one- will touch this stuff with a ten-foot pole. The packet is also messy for serving.
My little friend went over a gave it a sniff and possibly a little taste and briskly walked away..I tried both the Chicken and Salmon and he will not even go to the dish anymore...I should have accepted the other reviews and saved my money...I am sending it to a Kitty hospital for them to use but was told by the receptionist that she believes that they had that donated before and the Cats would not touch it....my advice is save your money purchase something else
I got this for one me of my old ladies that hasn't been eating much lately. She refused it so tried it on the other 2 old ladies, they wouldn't touch it either and Delilah eats everything. So gave it to my boys and they didn't want it either. I did finally find a feral that would eat it. I hate wasting food. I think I will donate the rest to a shelter, maybe they will have better luck with it.
My baby girl is very finicky. She's 2 years old. I'm having a hard time getting her to eat wet food. But this stuff she loves.
I had high hopes that the gravy would go over with my three cats but all three refused to touch the food I added it to as an enticer, even my male cat - who eats everything else no problem - flat out backed away as soon as he sniffed it. Now I'm stuck with an entire case of gravy...
The purchase and delivery process was perfect but my cats just don't like the gravy so it was a net loss.
My cats love the gravy, in the canned food, So I figured this would be a treat. They wanted nothing to do with it, it didn’t have the same texture, as Canned Catfood gravy, it didn’t even have a smell. It was basically just a waste of money!
