we recently had a small dog diagnosed with diabetes, we had to change his diet plant and needed something to help his appetite. this was the only chicken broth that didn't have onion or garlic in it. both my little dogs love a teaspoon added to their dry food, with the science diet WD food dry mix in a table spoon of WD wet then the broth mixed in my diabetic dog loves his food now. the other small dog gets the same except her dry food is science diet small paws for pups under 6. I'll be ordering more soon
My finicky feline who is a fan of gravy and broth based foods smelled this and just walked away. He is 15 yo and diagnosed with kidney failure. Drinks a lot of water. Was hoping this might help get a little more fluid into his daily routine. He is choosy ... but this will not become a part of his diet. This was terribly thick, but didn't clearly see any directions for thinning.
For my cats this was not something they wanted to eat. My one cat took a taste and walked away. The other wouldn't even try it. Sorry, it just didn't work.
My cat really isn’t interested in this at all. It smells more of celery than it does meat
My cat loves a little extra gravy on his moist food, and he really seems to like this stuff. Matt
Exactly same reaction as expressed to the Beef Broth. Total rejection.
My picky year-old mixed pup loves this on his dry food. It is human grade, very tastely like a chicken gravy-ish pour over. I vary his diet and meals and he likes this on his lunch kibble. It adds a layer of fresh flavor that he really goes after!
I am sure it is good broth, but none of my cats would eat it. Picky picky!
Bailey took one whiff and walked away. She likes her food moist and I thought this would be a good addition--not so. I will continue to add a spoonful of water to add some juice to her dish.
My cats wouldn’t eat at all. I put out outside where we feed raccoons — they wouldn’t eat it either!
