Supports Healthy Digestion

Instinct Raw Boost Mixers for Digestive Health are made with nutrient-dense, freeze-dried raw pieces that contain fiber and live, natural probiotics for improved digestive health. Made with cage-free chicken and functional, whole-food ingredients like pumpkin, sweet potato, chicory root, apple cider vinegar and probiotics, they help promote a comfortable, balanced digestive system. Use as an all-natural meal topper or healthy treat—they provide an easy way to add raw nutrition to your pet’s diet.

Minimally Processed and Never Cooked

Eating a diet rich in minimally processed foods is just as good for our pets as it is for us. Instinct raw recipes are made with responsibly sourced meat and non-GMO fruits and vegetables that are minimally processed—and never cooked—to keep their nutrients intact. Less processed food allows for better digestion and nutrient absorption, so your furry friend gets more nutrients with every bite.

The Raw Difference

Unlike traditional, cooked pet foods, raw pet food retains more important antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and minerals that are key to better health. Feeding as little as 20% raw as part of your pet’s diet can have a positive impact on your pet’s life. Common changes noticed by pet parents who feed raw include better digestion, improved skin and coat, improved weight, relief from food sensitivities, and increased energy and vitality.

Questions & Answers

20 Customer Questions

Instructions list feeding amounts in tablespoons, but these pellets don't exactly fit neatly into a measuring spoon. How much is 1 tablespoon? One pellet? Two?

Answer by ChewyDec 20, 2019
There are approximately 8-10 Mixers in a tablespoon.

Is this safe for dogs to eat? My finicky cat won't even try them, but my dog has been woofing them down.

Answer by ChewyFeb 25, 2021
The Mixers are not complete and balanced for a particular species, so they are interchangeable. A dog can safely eat the Mixers labeled for cats and vise versa.

Is this chewy or crunchy?

Answer by ChewySep 02, 2020
These topper pieces are more chewy than crunchy and may be broken apart into crumbles, if wanted.

Is there a chance for this to contain any type of parasites/worms since it's made out of raw meat?

Answer by ChewyMar 26, 2022
Instinct uses High Pressure Processing (also known as HPP or Cold Pressure) on their frozen and freeze-dried raw recipes to ensure they are free from pathogenic bacteria like Salmonella, E. Coli, and Listeria. This is the same process used for human foods like cold-pressed juices and guacamole. They also extensively test every batch for safety before it leaves their facilities.

Both cats love them!

I love having something healthy that is still a "treat" as far as my cats are concerned. They really enjoy them and not in that finicky cat way of liking them for

I love having something healthy that is still a "treat" as far as my cats are concerned. They really enjoy them and not in that finicky cat way of liking them for a day or two and then never again. It's been 2 weeks now... I think the Instinct Raw Boost Digestive Health are officially a winner!

The cats really like them

I'd love to give a more detailed review but I've had the product for barely a week so any beneficial results have not yet been seen. The cats (both former ferals)

I'd love to give a more detailed review but I've had the product for barely a week so any beneficial results have not yet been seen. The cats (both former ferals) really like them. I feed as a supplement with both wet and dry food and hope to see the benefits (soft coat, good breath, etc.) soon

My cats were not fans

My vet recommended giving one of my cats additional fiber, and my sister said her cat liked this brand, so I decided to give them a try. None of my cats will eat

My vet recommended giving one of my cats additional fiber, and my sister said her cat liked this brand, so I decided to give them a try. None of my cats will eat these, even when I crumble them up to make them easier to eat. They will even knock them out of the bowl so as not to have to eat around them. Sadly, this was not the right solution for my guys.

Color coded.

She picks these out of the mix first. I know it’s the smell but it sure looks like she is picking out the orange ones. She does get around to eating the rest but

My cat LOVES these!

Miss picky Spooken really loves these and gobbles them up. I really struggle getting her to eat more calories she is too skinny imo. Great for my fussy eater!

Gobbles Down!

My kitty loves these little nuggets! I give to him in the whole nuggets with his meal. He loves the flavor! Seems to help manage hairballs.

Pieces are too big.. but 2 cats like

Two of my cats like this topper, but I bought the nuggets and discovered those are too big for them to comfortably chew. I break them all down before I put it on

Two of my cats like this topper, but I bought the nuggets and discovered those are too big for them to comfortably chew. I break them all down before I put it on their food. Word of advice-buy the bottle that you can shake on top of the food instead.

Good size

Use these as treats & 9mos young kitten loves the change of pace & taste. Older cat had trouble digesting, so won't give them to her again!
