The roof

The roof opens so it is easy to clean up! I am glad I ordered this one because the other similar style roof doesn’t open and it is so hard to clean the little house

The roof opens so it is easy to clean up! I am glad I ordered this one because the other similar style roof doesn’t open and it is so hard to clean the little house. It is also enough space for a cat or two. I use it for feral cats, and I place inside a corrugated cardboard. I am ordering another one for my outdoor cat and because it is in a lanai I will be able to place inside a thermal blanket. It did not get wet inside during rain!

I ordered this house not only because of the 2 exits but also because it was available for immediate delivery & at a reasonable price for a wood structure...after

I ordered this house not only because of the 2 exits but also because it was available for immediate delivery & at a reasonable price for a wood structure...after unpacking & finally reaching the instructions wedged btwn the last 2 pieces packed, one of the 1st instructions is to let it breathe for 10 DAYS!!!...other helpful points that would have been good to include in the item description is that it requires 2 people to assemble, doesn't have all predrilled screw holes which need to be drilled with an electric drill and it needs to be treated with clear timber protectant...Really!?!? This is a DIY kit at best & should be advertised as such. The quality of the pieces seems ok and that's about as positive as I can be about this purchase. Hugely disappointed.

I had a male friend build this, and he did it in an hour. I'm older and this is easy to move around and clean out. My suggestion is put catnip or cat stress spray

I had a male friend build this, and he did it in an hour. I'm older and this is easy to move around and clean out. My suggestion is put catnip or cat stress spray inside to encourage them to try it out. Heating pad or straw for warmth will be necessary. It is very good protection, safe and sturdy; it should last for years.

Hopeful that at least one or two will use it this winter. Suggestion: put a clear coat of lacquer on the outside to preserve it!

The cats like it.....and they use it to sleep on my deck.
