New Age Pet ecoFLEX Outdoor Cat House
By Lewis on Jan 12, 2021
We have just purchased our second of these cat houses for two feral cats we inherited with the house when we moved. There was a slow response to use the first one when we put it out but they did go in and out without a worry. As the winter has come on and we added a heating pad, this has totally changed and signaled the need for the second one the same, and this is their shelter and warmth now. Both came from Chewy as they seem to have the best prices, but they do vary. We have seen these same ones from $300 down to about $60 where we got them from Chewy. They are easy to put together and quite good for insulating from the cold and weather. I highly recommend as would our two adoptees.

Durable and Weatherproof
By JS58 on Jan 11, 2021
I got this cat house for two stray cats around my place just as the temperatures went into the teens and snow started. They took to it right away and sleep in it together. The house was very easy to assemble and is durable enough to withstand winds, rain and snow. I left the plastic flap off the front entrance but put it on the side escape and they've used it with no problem. I looked at several cat houses and determined they were really flimsy. This one, however, is heavy enough to stay put, doesn't leak and provides great shelter. The quality is worth the cost.

feral cat shelter
By bonalex on Jan 3, 2021
Purchased for a feral cat community. Directions to put together could have been done better but I figured it out. I bought thin insulation and used duct tape to install. Pamphlet with the shelter indicate you can paint it. Since the camouflage shelter was too expensive for our cat community to purchase I may attempt trying to paint this one in a camouflage style. Bought the self warming pad which was a little big for the shelter but works Pleased with the shelter! Now let’s hope the feral cats like it

Very Sturdy

This is for a feral cat I've been caring for for 5 years. I was surprised at how well made this is. It did not take long at all to put together. You can have this together in 15 minutes. It will take longer if you insulate. Tips: You can learn from my mistakes! 1. I decided to glue insulation on to each panel before putting it together. This was a dumb move because the floor is the last thing to go in and it won't fit if the walls are now thicker than what they used to be. 2. If you plan to add straw, it would be much easier to do it before you screw on the roof. The door flaps are flimsy and will not keep out the gusty wind or rain hence 4 star rating vs 5 stars. I now own 4.
By Cats on Jan 11, 2021
Taking care of multiple outdoor cats, I have tried many types of outdoor houses. These are by far the most popular with my cats. I insulate them and cover with a tarp for the winter to help keep the cold out. I am glad the door flaps finally have plastic ‘bolts’ to keep them on. The Velcro version doesn’t last more than a month outside. The last house purchased had one side that was not totally lined up but I was able to make the screw go in on a slant.

Great Item
By Jane on Jan 9, 2021
We have a feral cat living outside and we had another type of house that he would not go into last year , I took the heated mat out of that one and put it in this one . Its a nice sturdy house , didn't put the doors on yet because I wanted to see if he would go in and out first. he went in it right away so I will see about putting the doors on . it was easy to put together. I just purchased another one for a back up .

By maggie on Jan 1, 2021
I bought this house for the ferals around. it came super fast well packaged and easy to assemble. i took out the front flap as the cats seem to be afraid to get in but i just looked out the window and one of them is in there. i put a self warming pad in it but will probably add some straw. the sale price was amazing also.

Perfect Feral Cat Home
By Gina on Dec 31, 2020
With winter closing in my husband and I wanted to offer the feral cats that stop by from time to time a place to get out of the elements. This was easy to put together, the perfect size and weatherproof. It also offers an escape door in case it is needed. We just added some straw and it was ready to go!

Awesome Cat House
By Barbara on Jan 13, 2021
Thought $60 was high, since it was for a feral cat that was hanging around. But I ordered it anyway because of Chewy’s easy return policy. Was very pleased and eased my mind of the cat being in the cold. I highly recommend this Cat House!

Not as impressed
By Savannah on Jan 3, 2021
This is ok but in all honesty I’m just not that impressed. Make sure you add a pad as the plastic interior is hard and cold. I took off the front plastic panel as the cats did not like it. It took a bit but the cat is now using it as their home
