FURemover Pet Hair Removal & Lint Brush, Color Varies

I originally purchased two of these, specifically to use 1) as a brush for my DSH cat, and 2) to pull out the embedded cat & Corgi fur from the carpet on two staircases, which the vacuum just does not fully grab. My DSH cat has oddly fluffy but fine fur, and this works super well to get all the way through her coat yet actually capture and remove the loose fur. She really enjoys this brush and will stick around for a good ten minutes or so of brushing. It also works really well to get the embedded fur in the carpet on my stair cases. It does a good job gathering the leftover fur yet does not snag the carpet like metal tools/removers. Only challenge is that it being oval-shaped, you will still need a flat/narrow brush to get the crevice between the tread and riser of the steps. Still, it's the best tool I've found so far. Then I had a revelation... because I also have a highly opinionated Thoroughbred mare. She harbors the fire of two hundred years of TB mare ancestry running through her veins, so with the current surface-of-the-sun heat wave we're experiencing she is consistently covered in a crust of dried sweat. She also despises grooming, no matter how calmly and carefully it is applied... it is received about as well as when my husband calmly suggests that maybe I should try to calm down.... But I decided to try this as a curry for her, being pokey enough to actually scrub off the dried sweat yet flexible and non-offensive enough to not completely peeve her off. And it is a resounding success! Even on the upper inside of back legs, her belly and between her front legs, and oh-so-carefully along her flanks, I only got smacked a few times with her tail and received some serious side eye, instead of the usual game of chasing her around her stall. It is a begrudging one-hoof rating - which from her, is practically a 7 out of 5 star review. Now I just need to go purchase about 30 more of these, so I have a full stock for the rest of her life. Because so help me, if this ever gets discontinued, I will never find another curry / brush that she will so unhappily be happy with. So four paws up from the cat, two thumbs up from me, and 1 out of 0 hooves up from the horse. Well worth ordering!
