What is the difference between the small and the medium? Does the size apply to cat or the hand using it?

In this case, the size refers to the cat. The small is for cats under 10 lbs while the medium is for cats over 10 lbs.

Can I use this to take cat hair off the carpet under my bed?

We suggest cleaning the deShedding tool with a soft bristle brush and soapy water. After cleaning, hand dry before storing.

This brush works miracles and my kitten has begun to really look forward to getting brushed so I try to do it every day. The grooming gloves he does not like and

This brush works miracles and my kitten has begun to really look forward to getting brushed so I try to do it every day. The grooming gloves he does not like and are nowhere near as effective as removing his fur. I will always recommend this brush and will move to a larger size once he is bigger thank you again for offering such a high-quality product

Wow! The amount of fur that came out with this tool was unbelievable, so much

I've been using the the green one with the steel prongs and I had to go over her about 50 times before I was satsfied. The FURMINATOR is the best I've ever used

The last brush you’ll ever need

This brush is great! A dog groomer recommended it to us and we have a total fur ball! It does a great job of loosening his undercoat and help with shedding

Genuinely the only brush my cat likes

I have a shorthair who keeps herself really clean, but sheds a lot when stressed. I got this brush because we moved recently and I wanted to mitigate the literal

I have a shorthair who keeps herself really clean, but sheds a lot when stressed. I got this brush because we moved recently and I wanted to mitigate the literal fall out. This is the only brush she liked and the only one she stays still for. It does a GREAT job removing the extra fur, and is easy to clean out. Using the button to remove the hair is a bit tricky as it gets stuck sometimes, but this is way better than some of the off brands I’ve had before.

It really pulls off all the loose hair--even the undercoat. A little grooming session every other day has significantly reduced the hairball vomiting. Each session removes a lot of fur!
