About Fussie Cat

Co-Created by Cats

Instead of just assuming what kind of food cats will like, Fussie Cat lets them call the shots. Each recipe is co-created and taste-tested by cats to make sure your own kitty will love it. Aside from being highly palatable, Fussie Cat wet and dry foods are full of quality meats like boneless chicken, duck, tuna, shrimp and prawns to make sure your little carnivore is getting the protein-rich, feline-appropriate diet she needs.

Made for Meat Lovers

If there's one thing cats crave, it's the rich taste of pure meat. It makes sense, because they're obligate carnivores. Your four-legged friend probably lets you know exactly what she likes, and it's sure to be fish, poultry or meat. Fussie Cat has farm-raised poultry, ocean fish from the South Pacific, and a whole range of interesting seafood options like Threadfin Bream, smoked tuna, mussels, clams and anchovies.

Physiologically Correct Diets

Knowing that cats need meat protein to survive, Fussie Cat developed formulas that they call Physiologically Correct. As true carnivores, their bodies are extremely efficient in processing meat, so 20% of their diet should come from animal proteins. Fussie Cat's foods start with meat, are low in carbs and include a complete spectrum of essential vitamins and minerals. You can be sure your kitty's getting all the necessary amino acids, protein and other nutrients.

Kitty's Choice

With two canned food lines and several tempting dry food options, your cat can always have the dinner she prefers. Fussie Cat Premium is a tuna-based menu that pairs this popular fish with chicken or seafood delicacies. Super Premium is made for chicken lovers with boneless chicken, low sodium levels and plenty of omegas. Market Fresh dry foods are crunchy and delicious, with proteins full of vitamin B12, and antioxidant-rich cranberries and blueberries.

Outstanding Quality Control

Fussie Cat makes their top-quality foods in an FDA-registered kitchen—the same kitchen that produces canned food that's fit for people to eat. Thorough quality inspections are conducted daily for food safety, heavy metals, pathogens, contamination and pesticides, so the end product is everything that you should expect it to be.

About Fussie Cat

Fussie Cat uses a carnivore-friendly, meat-first philosophy to provide wholesome meals that are full of the animal proteins your cat needs to thrive. Meat is always the main course, and carbohydrates only appear in limited amounts. They've created recipes that not only pass the strictest international food safety tests, but also kitty taste tests with flying colors. Cats from all corners of the U.S. will find all their favorites in Fussie Cat's Market Fresh dry foods and flavorful wet foods.

Tasty Treat

We volunteer at a dog and cat sanctuary where we work in the feline leukemia room. We treat our crew to lunch and they all like this food. It looks good enough to spread on a cracker were we not vegetarians. It's a hit with our beloved kitty friends.

Fussie Cat Super Premium Chicken with Egg

When my fussy buddies first were served this they ate it. But, now they won't touch it other than to lap up the broth. It is now being shared with the local feral cat,

Fussie Cat Chicken with Egg

I wanted to give the cats food with egg in it. The problem may be the chicken, as they did not really like this recipe compared with the salmon and tuna. Suggestion: try salmon and egg.

One outta two

In general, Fussie Cat is a big hit in my house, but Marigold is quite discerning and didn't like the chicken. Of course, I tried her on a single can from the pet store here and she was fine with it. So I committed to a case and don't ya know, she stuck her tongue out at it. Fizz, on the other hand, who will eat pretty much anything, loves this stuff. So add my two cats together and divide in half. If you have a ready, willing, and able kitty, this will be loved. If you have a fussy Marigold, maybe take your chances. Good thing she's adorable.

Cats would not touch it.

Instead of being cut into small chunks, the chicken was cut into long strings. My 3 cats just licked a small amount of the gravy and walked away. I will be taking it to the animal shelter.

This is like crack for cats

I thought one of my cats was very picky but so far he has gobbled Blue Wliderness Chicken pate, Against the Grain Chicken and Cheese and this. I'm kind of sorry I gave him this one because he liked it so much and I'm not a millionaire. The cost is very prohibitive for feeding 10 cats plus foster kittens and about 20 feral cats I have trapped and neutered. He's just going to have to learn to like the Blue Wilderness better. I should add that I have just started regularly feeding my cats canned food other than just as occasional treats so mine may be less fussy than others.
