We bought a stainless steel litter box for our RV to take the cats with us. We replaced a plastic one with the steel one in the house and it was preferred by the cats, maybe because of the high side. We liked it as we believe it helps keep odor down. We bought this one as the other was out of stock and got it with the litter pad as that was the only option. Surprisingly, the pad does help keep the litter tracking down.
