When the description said 8-qt "bag" I assumed it would be in a soft BAG. Instead it came as a solid brick that needs to be hydrated to separate fibers. I did not

First off the title and description state “8 quart bag” and this came in a compressed brick. While I wasn’t happy, I got over it, rehydrated the first brick and

First off the title and description state “8 quart bag” and this came in a compressed brick. While I wasn’t happy, I got over it, rehydrated the first brick and when I broke apart the second, I can not help but notice something is not coconut husk, but an elastic bow inside the brick. I’d really like to know how that got in there, as it could have been deadly to my pet. This product needs to be recalled and removed from stores.

excellent for snakes

I have 21 snakes and use this for all of my ball pythons and a few other snakes. The negative reviews don’t understand this product. Just soak it in a bit of water

I have 21 snakes and use this for all of my ball pythons and a few other snakes. The negative reviews don’t understand this product. Just soak it in a bit of water and it will expand and then let it set out to air dry spread out in a tub or bucket for a few days. This is the best substrate I’ve used for my pythons. I still use Aspen for the colubrids, but this stuff is the best. I’ve tried at least a dozen substrates and coco husk is the way to go.

Love this stuff! It’s great for my snake. The other reviews are silly. Yes, you have to soak it for a bit to get it to expand and loosen up. It’s great cuz it keeps humidity for a long while! Make sure it’s not soaking wet but overall love it!
