About Galliprant Tablets

Osteoarthritis Pain Relief

Galliprant® (grapiprant tablets) helps you safely and effectively treat your dog's osteoarthritis pain in a different way. It specifically targets a key osteoarthritis pain receptor in dogs, plus it helps reduce inflammation. Help your dog get back to leading an active and happy life with a treatment that's made just for osteoarthritis.

First of Its Kind

Galliprant® is a highly selective Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug, focusing on the pain receptor associated with osteoarthritis to provide potent, targeted relief. It can be prescribed for dogs in the earliest stages of osteoarthritis and is suitable for puppies 9 months and older weighing 8 lbs and above.

Breaks the Cycle of Osteoarthritis

By reducing inflammation that restricts joint movement and relieving pain that discourages exercise, Galliprant helps keep your dog more active. Regular exercise prevents weight gain that can erode joints, and movement helps to strengthen muscles to hold joints in better alignment. These factors combine to reduce joint stress and help reduce future inflammation and pain.

Safe for Daily Use

Because osteoarthritis is a lifelong condition, the ideal treatment should be safe to use every day. Galliprant works by targeting a key osteoarthritis pain receptor in dogs and not the enzymes that maintain kidney and liver function. *Monitoring is recommended if used long-term. See additional important safety information.

Easy To Give

Galliprant® comes in a convenient pork-flavored chewable tablet that tastes great and is easy to give by hand or in food. Giving your pup his daily pain relief medicine shouldn't cause either of you extra grief.

Indication

Galliprant® (grapiprant tablets) is an NSAID indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.

Important Safety Information

Not for use in humans. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Monitoring is recommended if used long term. Should not be used in dogs who are allergic to grapiprant or with other anti-inflammatory drugs. The safe use of Galliprant has not been studied in dogs younger than 9 months of age and less than 8 pounds, breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs, or dogs with heart disease. The most common adverse reactions were vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite and tiredness.

About Galliprant

Galliprant® (grapiprant tablets) was made to target canine osteoarthritis pain and inflammation in a way that other NSAIDs don't. It works by directly blocking the key receptor associated with osteoarthritis arthritis pain and joint inflammation to provide effective relief in a daily chewable. Help break the cycle of inflammation, pain and inactivity that keeps your pup from getting out there and doing the things he loves. Galliprant is a trademark of Elanco or its affiliates. Happy with results

I’m Desyle. My mom rescued my 11.5 years ago when I was 6 months old. I’m a big boy. Part American Bulldog, German Shepherd, Pittie and Husky. I loved catching bubbles and attacking the hose while mom watered but it’s caught up with me and now I have arthritis, bone spurs in my spine and my back paws drag sometimes. I played hard but now I pay. My human took me to the vet because she knew I was struggling and Doc put me on this medicine and Adequan. It’s has helped me so much. I was falling a lot because my rear end would give out. Now I have good days where I’m back to how I was a few years ago. Then I get full of myself with my shenanigans when my human isn’t looking because think I’m a young whipersnapper again hurt myself again. The human gets me back on track and I’m feeling better again. The nice lady with the dehydrated chicken comes every 2 weeks for my accupunture too. I’m basically a different dog now. My human was looking in to getting me a set of wheels for my hindquarters but she says I no longer need them I’m doing so much better. If you have an older dog like me who has similar issues you should try this because it makes me feel lots better and this makes my human very happy because she knows I’ll be by her side for a few more years and not in pain. I’m her best friend and she’s mine too

My dog gives thanks

My mountain cur, Maya, is 14 yrs. old and has severe arthritis and a liver disease. She was in severe pain and didn't like to move. She has always slept on my bed at night, but no longer wanted to climb up the stairs. Galliprant really helped her. She can get around fairly well and will sometimes go on a short walk. The vet added Gabapentin to her meds and that helped even more. She now climbs up on the bed a couple of times a day, which makes her very happy. She can also get in and out of the car more easily now. She weighs 56 lbs. and I am 73, so it was getting harder for me to lift her. She doesn't whimper as often, which makes me happy too.

Meh. Not worth the money

My vet prescribed this for my dog's arthritis pain. I'd previously tried other older, more established NSAIDS for my dog, but they always upset his stomach and gave him issues going poop. Gallaprant seems to be no diffferent. It gives my dog uncomfortable ad frequent diahhrea, and after two weeks on this medication I notice no improvement in his pain levels. Will not be buying this again.

My 13yo is going strong

It's a medication, so your mileage may vary on the outcome. Every pet is unique. As for the quality of the product, I've had no issues with Chewy delivering on time or early. My Belgian Malinois dog started taking this after she got diagnosed with chronic colitis earlier this year. Since she started, it has helped her joints, but also helps control her colitis without being rough on her immune system like other options were. I'm glad to see my girl doing the tippy tap dance every night for treats and not being afraid of hard floors anymore.

Didn’t come in manufacturer packaging

Why did I get two prescription bottles with half of the prescription in each one instead of one whole manufacturer provided bottle? Other than that, the medicine works - but I have been ordering it for years from online pet pharmacies and have never once received it this way.

Great service!

I am very happy with the products and service from Chewy. The one thing that would really help, though, is if you could make your receipts showing that I have paid. My insurance company always claim that they can’t tell if I have paid for Molly’s prescriptions. Grrr.

Miracle Drug

Our 8 year old Terrier mix was having a difficult time climbing three steps from our patio to how house. Doctor gave us a trial bottle of Galliprant. After first dose, we could tell an immediate difference in his movement and agility. After second dose, he was running around like a puppy and bounding up the steps. He is just starting his second year on it and it continues to give him very positive effects with no apparent side effects. It has been a "miracle drug" for our dog.

Huge improvement

By day 3 giving these to my 9 yr old 95lbs retriever he’s back to his old self. So glad I gave this a try. Well worth it. He’s walking, playing and happy again! He had been limping, not wanting to walk or play.

Miracle Worker

This medication was an immediate success. Ten-year-old Dixie chomped it down, and from her surprised expression an hour later, the medication had already worked to relieve her age-related aches and pains. I highly recommend this medication, but it's important to follow your veterinarians advice about using it.

Not as expected

This prescription was filled in a chewy container with no seal instead of the original packaging which has a seal and protection against moisture. When opening the container there was a distinct odor. Will fill future scripts with another supplier.
